Danny Saucedo - Todo El Mundo (Dancing In The Streets)

After all post-Amazing singles of Danny Saucedo who seemed to try pretty every possible direction from hip-hop to almost schlager-ballad last year the artist has finally chosen his path. New Danny's album is going to get a Spanish flavour and today Danny premieres his brand new single "Todo El Mundo (Dancing In The Streets)" which showing what he actually means.
The song was co-written by J-Son, Jakke Erixson and Oscar Holter and it's a big summer track with Mediterranean rhytms not sounding directly like anything Danny did before and it's a pretty good thing that he has mannaged to make this step aside still staying pop all the way.

Danny Saucedo - Delirious
Series of Danny's singes go too fast this year which is a weird step but can we blame him for bringing a lot of new stuff? The singer has recently premiered new single "Delirious" and expectedly he has slowed down the tempo after "Amazing" and "All In Your Head" making a ballad which is a light melodic mix of r'n'b and pop. The song goes a bit Eric Saade's "Miss Unknown" in r'n'b verses before turning to a more direct sing-along part proving this single choise well.

Tommy Körberg & Danny Saucedo - I Can See Myself In You
New Danny Saucedo's single hasn't taken too long to be released after "All In My Head" and this time it's a long-awaited collaboration of Danny and his colleague by True Talent Tommy Körberg "I Can See Myself In You" that was written by not less than ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Tobias Gustavsson ("Jennie Let Me Love You", "Radio").
Young dance-pop singer joining old schlager-icon to perform anthemic classic ballad from legendary Swedish songwriter, where did we see it already? Ah, right, Agnes and Björn Skifs doing Jörgen Elofsson's "When You Tell the World You're Mine". But "I Can See Myself In You" has even bigger orchestral arrangement moving from dramatic piano intro to even more dramatic epic heights with a Nordic folk-touch.
Song will be performed at Friends Arena opening on October 27th, the event whish should be broadcasted by SVT at 20.00 by local time. Among other guests you'll be able to see Loreen, Roxette, Agnes, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Icona Pop and many others.
You can check "I Can See Myself In You" below skipping at 13.20.

Danny Saucedo - All in My Head (studio version)
New Danny's dance-monster "All in My Head" is finally unleashed! Brand new single produced by Trinity was already premiered on the radio, released and currently is #2 on iTunes.
Previously I was talking about live-performance of this song and studio-version has proved my expectations, the song is a natural progression of "Catch Me If You Can" in Guetta's "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" direction with its wild rave-chorus. "Amazing" arena-happiness was replaced with a darker dramatic side of Danny, not less anthemic and dance though.

Danny Saucedo - All In My Head

Earlier this summer Danny Saucedo has presented his duo with Lazee "Shake That Ass", track that almost wasn't promoted at all and hasn't got a proper interest of the audience. Seems like team has lost a faith halfway and now dance-Danny is back with a new single "All In My Head" which was premiered at Rix Fm festival recently and though it's not of a highest quality we can realize that something really promising is coming up.
"All In My Head" sounds like a more mature mix of "Catch Me If You Can Me" and "Crash and Survive" with a dark anxious tune opening up in a big rave chorus. This is old good but properly updated Danny and fans of his music should be absolutely delighted with the song when it will be released.

Danny Saucedo - Amazing (Remixes)

Wonderful news for Danny Saucedo's fans! Danny's new album has got a preliminary release date - July 1st so it's not that long to wait but still while waiting the artist has presented another goodies pack.
Yesterday compillation of "Amazing" versions was released digitally (almost 2 months after Melodifestivalen's unleashing songs date is a bit late but absolutely not too late) and it has included 2 mixes - from Trinity and Maison & Dragen (extended and radio Version), both tracks are pretty untrivial. When the first one is based on dubstep-sound, not too heavy for not a fan of this genre the second one wins the listeneer by live drums giving the track light stadium feeling in verses moving to a big club choruses. You can also find beautiful acoustic version of "Amazing" in this pack.

Something came alive

Danny Saucedo as many other hardworking artists among other is involved in singing demos ending up in someone else's performance. For example due to rumours he was working with the team which has sent some entries for next year's Melodifestivalen not from Danny's name though. However I can't remember any Danny's demo leaked so far and here we get a case!
Fishing youtube today I've found this 1-minute snippet of nice pop-rock song "Alive" that I hardly imagine dance-Danny to release on his own album but we'd love to find it performed by some other Swedish pop-hero (for example Erik Segerstedt would fit it well) and hope it won't be wasted.

Rockbjörnen-2011: candidates

Rockbjörnen-2011 candidates are revealed this year and you know what I think looking at Best male category? Seems like Swedish girls audience's getting more powerful and wilder these days, when Eric Saade, Danny, Ulrik Munther and Ola (honestly I sent my vote for Danny, yes, but...) are best male artists of Sweden seems like it shows that this category (of young pop-chaps) gets loads of commercial potential these days in Sweden, will next Melodifestivalen get pop-guy vs. pop-guy next year again?
Alright, moving to other candidates - Tove Styrke, Veronica Maggio, Takida, In Flames, Ola, Eric Saade and Ulrik Munther have gor two nominees. We're personally glad to see September, Eric Amarillo, Dead By April, Roxette, Adele and Jedward in nominees as well (Tokio Hotel again? They've won two of last year's nominees. Have they even released anything since that?). Though there's loads of commercial pop it absolutely doesn't mean it will win (m)any categories but you can affect it voting here.

Supermarkets feat. Danny Saucedo - Crash & Survive

Anders Bagge's club-project Supermarkets presents brand new single "Crash & Survive" and it's not less than Danny who's on duty for the vocal.
Supermarkets have started few months ago with debut single "Du säger du älskar mig" featuring vocals of Danish singer Medina and vocal of Anders Bagge. Single hasn't charted in official Swedish chart but still floats around in iTunes Top-200 and probably Danny is the key to Supermarkets' big success.
Last Danny's album was definitely to out taste but something was missing (not just in our opinion) and this something was track who could beat "In The Club" or at least fight on the same level. If "Crash & Survive" was included into Danny's album it could become worthy "In The Club" sequel with its agressive slightly Swedish House Mafia-inspired sound. Chorus is absolutely anthemic and whole track gives impression of a monster club-hit!

Danny Saucedo - In Love With A Lover (live)

Didn't we hear too little from this year's schlager runner-up Danny Saucedo's during the spring?
It's ok as Danny was involved in tour with EMD and preparing his UK re-release of old hit "If Only You" but tomorrow Danny starts his summer tour in Gröna Lund and at the same time we've got news about his next single "Tonight" featuring The Provider.
Earlier this week Danny was in studio of The Voice radio-show to perform another album track "In Love With A Lover", being such a rare case when we can see Danny performing his new stuff in hq-video it's especially precious!

Lazee ft. Mohombi - Do It

New video for the last Top-10 Lazee's single "Do It" is out.
Lazee has not long yet but quite succesful career in Sweden. He debuted 2 years ago with single "Rock Away" becoming big hit during Spring 2008 and later released another also noticed by audience single "Hold On" featuring popular rock-band Neverstore and the album "Setting Standards" same year. Together with Danny they also released single "Just Like That" in Poland. After a short pause Lazee came back this year with another hit "Calling Out" with rock-vocals in a style of "Hold On" but this time featuring Apollo Drive, that one and new song "Do It" both also became Top-10 hits and right now another successfuly promoted single "Can I Be The One" with his participation is released by Norlie & KKV.
About Mohombi - first highlight of his career was qualifying to Melodifestivalen-2005 as part of Group Avalon with the song "Big up" and after that he was working with many songwriting teams - Bloodshy & Avant, Twin, Jonas Jeberg, RedOne and others.
"Do It" is very nice catchy summer hit working well with proper music video rolling around parties, pools, cars and girls in bikini so relax and have some summer fun with Lazee and Mohambi.

Therese - Drop It Like It's Hot

Swedish House Diva Therese Grankvist is back! Therese has become famous for Swedish audience back in 90s when she was brought by Dr. Alban to a dance project Drömhus. Drömhus had a lot of entries in charts (like "Du och Jag", "Håll Dig Nära", etc.) but the biggest one was hit #1 "Vill ha dig". In 1999 Drömhus with the song "Stjärna på himmelen" has managed to reach 2nd place on Melodifestivalen right after Charlotte Nilsson-Perrelli who later brought Sweden its last victory on Eurovision. Project's life wasn't too long and Therese has gone solo being faithfull to dance-music though. Her single "Monkey" was noticed by audience in 2002 and "Time" has entered Top-20, in 2003 Therese released her first solo album "Acapulco". Further highlights of Therese' career were different successful collaborations with other projects like Stonebridge ("Put 'em High", "Take me away"), The Attic ("The Arrival"), Danny ("If Only You") and now it's time to come back as solo-artist so Therese's releasing new single "Drop It Like It's Hot" and should I say mention that Therese still stays faithful to her club roots? You can also find nice b-side "Say It (In The Morning)" on this single and you can hear it in Kia Venga commercial as well.

E.M.D. - Save Tonight

Due to information from tv4.se popular boy band E.M.D. consisting of 3 ex-Idol participants - Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo soon releases second album that's gonna be a tribute to hits of 90s. I should mention that band's life lasts not much more than 2 years but guys has already managed to make 4 #1 singles (+ one #3 and one #22) and #1 album (+ another Christmas album). Was it good idea to make covers-album? You can already judge yourself. First single from album is real classics of Swedish pop - Eagle-Eye Cherry's debut single "Save Tonight" from 1997, world-wide hit that reached #6 in UK chart and #5 of US chart. Cover turned to be incredibly nice and pleasant ballad with very beautiful instrumental part. You can listen to it right now.
