Attention! This is really rare case you can see rap-news on this blog but Lazee always had a proper pop-taste. Should I say pop-taste talking about collaboration with Dead By April? Yes, because Dead By April always felt what is a good pop-tune as well.
Few years ago Lazee have recorded the soundtrack "Stronger" for "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit" game with Dead By April and was released on Lazee's "Supposed to Happen" album year ago. Today you can see premiere of video shot for this track which sounds a bit Linkin Park when Linkin Park knew how to make hits.

Danny premieres brand new video for his fresh collaboration with Lazee "Shake That Ass" which is a cover of old Rob'n'Raz hit "Take a Ride".
I bet you expected new dance track but no, this is soft 90s hip-hop based track, I can't even directly remember when Danny went so far into hip-hop area. Anyway pop-fans shouldn't be scared, you also get very catchy pop-chorus which makes the whole thing pretty lovable.
Oh, and among models appearing in the video you can find Jamilla Idris, our Idol-Rihanna, who didn't qualify year ago but we do hope she'll get back to the music career.

New SoFo Records artists Rob & Nino's finally release new single "Freak" featuring Lazee we told not so long ago about.
As it was expected from the snippet "Freak" has become a big club-track with a nice party-video, modern international sound and the chorus which is catchy as hell!
For everyone who has got not enough of party in this pack guys have released EP with mixes which I hope they'll present online soon.

Alex Saidac, Gravitonas, Brandur, Martin Rolinski. Line-up of fresh pop-representatives of Alexander Bard's label constantly brings excitement and high expectations so when SoFo Records has signed new duo Rob & Nino with pretty qualitative debut "Rewind" released last year we've put them under a special attention and guys didn't linger with new music.
Upcoming Rob & Nino's single "Freak" featuring Lazee is on the way and here we get the first sneek peak which is utterly catchy combination of club-music with slight Avicii-feeling and Nino's r'n'b vocals. Snippet is already quite promising so let's wait and see what will come out of it.

Today I'd like to introduce you to relatively new artist but with pretty strong debut pretending to become really qualitative bid for international breakthrough with the help of another artist you should know well if you read this blog constantly.
Sabrina Petrini known under artistic name KingQueen presents release of her new single "La La Land" featuring Lazee and video for it is already out, at the same time album "La La Land" is coming out as well.
KingQueen was born in Helsingborg and lived there until 20 when she has decided to move to UK and later to US to improve her professional skills and find sources of inspiration for her further music career and in 2009 she has made debut with singles "Luv Drug" and "U Make Me (LOL)". It has taken less than 2 years before her album was ready to see the light and it has turned to be inflammable mixture of electro, rock and urban vibes on heavy aggressive pop-steroids. Is it too much? At least not every pop-star is brave enough to get so uncomprising but that's why KingQueen is here.

Lazee is not that artist you can blame for finding wrong partners to work on his new releases.
Right before launch of the second album "Supposed to Happen" he unites efforts with J-Son (Julimar) and Madcon presenting truly awesome single "Tag".
Feels like that "In The Club" Swedish House Mafia-inspired heavy club sound becomes real trend of the season (though we don't mind at all) and here you can also listen to amazing mixing of melodic hip-hop with hard electronic dance-arrangement followed by chorus blowing it all away straight to club heaven with its ragged club-layers and dance beats.

Album obviously gets much more international sound than previous albums, it's still Swedish pop but Swedish pop of new generation. Danny has made breaktrough internationally few years ago and it feels like exactly that growth on the album that's gonna turn heads of DJs playing previous Danny's hits to his new stuff. I already presented 4 songs of the album before and not once so let's take a look at the rest and it's a killer dance track "Tonight" featuring The Provider on a heavy drive and high tempo in recognizable Danny's style, powerful r'n'b ballad "In Love With A Lover" in "What Come Around Goes Around" style, "Never Gonna Take Us Down" featuring Swingfly - modern pop-song with anthemic chorus and slight taste of "Written in the Stars" and another ballad "Cassandra" - big emotional with slight Disney taste but still it's closer to r'n'b sound. Gorgeous pop-stuff, check yourself!

Has your Santa slept through all your holidays, given your presents to your neighbours and left you depressed, drunk and crying all the Christmas weekends? What a shame! I'll try to fix it right now with some gifts from Swedish music Santa, to be more exact we have few Santas!

Our first Santa is Linda Sundblad who gives away her latest track "I'm a Star" that we presented back in December. I'll remind you that track is a part of interactive project where you can participate yourself making video and recording song together with Linda. Now official version is on site and it's a bit different from initial version - with harder beat during all song and on the other hand more calm energetics but very nice moaning part from Linda and computerized rap.

Lazee just doesn't stop to provide new great collaborations these days and we get another one with fresh project Norlie & KKV.
Sonny Fahlberg (Norlie) and Kim Vadenhag (KKV) are two young Stockholm lads who met in gymnasium around year ago and decided to start new common project catching inspiration from completely different music styles mixing pop, rap, house, electro, rok, etc. in their own music. Project turned to be much more successful than anyone could expect and guys already have managed to perform with such respectable artists like Hoffmaestro & Chraa, Maskinen, Afasi & Filthy, Far & Son and J-Son. Right now they're working on the first album with producers Daniel Gidlund, Tore Jarlo, Camilo Britos and Brazilian Lorenzo Anzzur and releasing their debut single with support of Lazee.
"Can I Be The One" is very well-produced dynamic track based on rap-verses, high quality electro-sound and totally stunning dancefloor killers-refrains. Enjoy it below!

Two weeeks ago I told you about summer hit Lazee provided with Mohombi - young and talented Swedish-Congolese artist and songwriter from RedOne's camp.
Now Mohombi presents his own brand new single "Bumpy Ride" - ultra-infectious and fresh sounding song mixing r'n'b-vibes, summer dance mood and mild melodic Mohombi's vocal. "Bumpy Ride" is produced by RedOne and it's already second case this year after Love Generation's debut single when RedOne's working with Swedish artists that's actually very pleasant. Don't forget to check another Mohombi's stuff (I love You, Letting Go), probably very soon whole world will be talking about this guy.

New video for the last Top-10 Lazee's single "Do It" is out.
Lazee has not long yet but quite succesful career in Sweden. He debuted 2 years ago with single "Rock Away" becoming big hit during Spring 2008 and later released another also noticed by audience single "Hold On" featuring popular rock-band Neverstore and the album "Setting Standards" same year. Together with Danny they also released single "Just Like That" in Poland. After a short pause Lazee came back this year with another hit "Calling Out" with rock-vocals in a style of "Hold On" but this time featuring Apollo Drive, that one and new song "Do It" both also became Top-10 hits and right now another successfuly promoted single "Can I Be The One" with his participation is released by Norlie & KKV.
About Mohombi - first highlight of his career was qualifying to Melodifestivalen-2005 as part of Group Avalon with the song "Big up" and after that he was working with many songwriting teams - Bloodshy & Avant, Twin, Jonas Jeberg, RedOne and others.
"Do It" is very nice catchy summer hit working well with proper music video rolling around parties, pools, cars and girls in bikini so relax and have some summer fun with Lazee and Mohambi.

Life and career were flowing in a full mode for young and beautiful Sibel Redzep last few years. After girl has appeared on Idol-2005 and almost reached the final but was beaten by Agnes and Sebastian Karlsson it took 3 years for her to come back and she did it on Melodifestivalen-2008 with her debut single "That is Where I'll Go" surprising everyone with her astonishing vocals, going directly to the final and releasing her Top-10 debut album "The Diving Belle" with some pretty cool singles and music videos like "Make Believe", "Walking Away" and "I'm Sorry" (best track of the album in my opinion). Sibel also has worked on backvocals for Ashley Tisdale's last album and was touring in China. In 3 years Sibel came back to Melodifestivalen with her new song "Stop" written by Mikaela Stenström and Dimitri Stassos, though it didn't go so well for her, that is a shame as Sibel's polished performance with this amazing track can be easily called real melo-classics. She also provided another demo "You're Making Me Hot-Hot-Hot" that qualified to the contest and was performed by Linda Pritchard but even with great performance didn't go well unfortunately. And now Sibel proudly presents brand new single "The Fall" featuring Lazee and produced by Novel who wrote "Straight Through My Heart" for Backstreet Boys and worked in team of RedOne on songs for Lady Gaga. You can actualy hear some touch of RedOne in this great party-track that shows new side of Sibel. Second Sibel's album that she was recording last two years is planned for August-September.

Today I'd like to present you new rock-band that showed just a few pieces of their music and it turned to be really promising stuff. This band is Apollo Drive and it was formed in 2008 originally by guitar player Stefan Örn and singer Fredrik Lönngren joined later by the rest of members. Band has started writing songs and touring in Sweden, their demo-stuff has reached famous producer Anders Bagge who was really impressed by Fredrik's vocal and decided that he has to work with this band. In January of 2009 band released their first single "Time" really nice alternative track that wasn't met with as great enthusiasm in charts though. Year later band features Lazee's single "Calling Out" that's turning to a really big hit in Sweden and little later releases their new single "Papercut" on US iTunes and later in March in Sweden. You can also check another new song "If You Only Let Me" on band's myspace, guys prepare another new stuff and this year Stefan Örn together with Anders Bagge have written the song "Drip Drop" for Azerbaijanian representative on Eurovision-2010 Safura, this song is the biggest favorite of the contest that's starting today and final will be shown on Saturday.
