New Danny Saucedo's single hasn't taken too long to be released after "All In My Head" and this time it's a long-awaited collaboration of Danny and his colleague by True Talent Tommy Körberg "I Can See Myself In You" that was written by not less than ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Tobias Gustavsson ("Jennie Let Me Love You", "Radio").
Young dance-pop singer joining old schlager-icon to perform anthemic classic ballad from legendary Swedish songwriter, where did we see it already? Ah, right, Agnes and Björn Skifs doing Jörgen Elofsson's "When You Tell the World You're Mine". But "I Can See Myself In You" has even bigger orchestral arrangement moving from dramatic piano intro to even more dramatic epic heights with a Nordic folk-touch. Song will be performed at Friends Arena opening on October 27th, the event whish should be broadcasted by SVT at 20.00 by local time. Among other guests you'll be able to see Loreen, Roxette, Agnes, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Icona Pop and many others.

Lately Petra "September" Marklund was mostly hidden from cameras and a huge Swedish public attention she had in 2011 after Så mycket bättre success. The reason is that she was in the studio recording new album with Kent's Jocke Berg. The album that was planned to be out already this year (October 24th is release date for now) under Petra's own name and to become a quite darker than September's music with references to a sound of Coldplay, Florence and the Machine and Depeche Mode.
While we're waiting for Petra's album here is the song she was working with Michel Zitron (Save The World, Jennie Let Me Love You, Fade Into Darkness, If Only You) and his constant collaborator Tobias Gustavsson.
Songwriting team has joined forces with the project Lissi Dancefloor Disaster from Uppsala and come out with a great electropop-gem "Singing My Heart Out" based on a Miike Snow-breathing keys leading us through an utterly dramatical tune creating a very dark and special atmosphere with Josefin's vibrating vocals.
If this is direction Petra Marklund currently goes in her own stuff I absolutely don't mind and can't wait for her new album even more impatiently.

I'd really like to tell you about one of my favorite songs already very long time.
Probably not many of you heard about band Straight Frank but I bet you know the song "I'm Stupid" that became huge international hit of another Swedish band Prime STH already 10 years ago. After it Primes released two absolutely genial albums, have toured around the world and then unexpectedly stopped what started so fine deciding to take a pause in a search of new ways of development of their direction. Since that vocalist Noa Modén completely lost out of the music business highlights but another piece of Prime STH - drummer Kasper "Kaz" Lindgren otherwise didn't want to stop creative process and soon we've seen him in credits to albums of Ana Johnsson, Dead By April, Stanfour, Elena Paparizou and many others. In parallel to it Kasper has got two own projects - original indie-project Beware Of The Boo and rock-band Straight Frank sounding in best traditions of Audioslave. Quite long time Straight Frank stayed in a shadow but few days ago we've got news that band is ready with EP and the album in November, you can find some of their music stuff full of drive, sometimes impulsive, sometimes agressive, but always tuneful and well-produced on their Myspace and Facebook page. My personal favorite is "Mary" - thoughtful beautiful rock-song with anthemic chorus and very special vocal of Tobias Gustavsson (by the way another successful songwriter (Sarah Dawn Finer, Martin Stenmarck, EMD, Danny)).
