Eric Amarillo - Men Hallå! Vem bryr sig? (video)

Eric Amarillo comes back to own another summer in Sweden with a new hit "Men Hallå! Vem bryr sig?" that I was writing about earlier this year.
The track sounds quite different from "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" but it contains one of combinations I usually fall for hard - dance pop-music with a lot of strings and Eric always knows how to make a beautiful pop-tune.
In a week after a single release we also get a video which is a documentary cut that you can watch below.

Eric Amarillo - Inga kan älska som vi

And another new track from Eric Amarillo! The last one was "Men Hallå! Vem Bryr Sig?" presented by Eric in April so here comes "Inga kan älska som vi".
Actually this is not completely new song, it's a cover of classic Grace's hit recently covered by Erik Linder. Sure Eric Amarillo has made it completely his own putting it in his original dark, dance and slightly synthpop-smelling arrangement. The result has become as Amarillo-tastic as it supposed to be.

Eric Amarillo - Men Hallå! Vem Bryr Sig?

Eric Amarillo who has delievered a hit-monster of 2011 "Om sanningen ska fram" is back for more, he has got a new track "Men Hallå! Vem bryr sig?" shared on his official Youtube-channel and it sounds like a great follow-up of his first solo-album released last autumn.
"Men Hallå! Vem bryr sig?" seems to be a bridge between The Attic's sound that you could feel very well on Eric's album and this year's Avicii trend of big piano ragged chords, catchiness and beautiful melodics is still (like always) included so this song can become a strong Eric's comeback.

Eric Amarillo - Trolleri Trallala

Wanna know how Kicki Danielsson meeting Daft Punk sound like in Eric Amarillo's opinion?
Here's Eric's new demo-track with I guess demo-lyrics but it sounds pretty good to pretend on entering his next album, isn't it?
Lately I've become especially addicted to everything new produced by Eric, this guy has a hit-feeling and hope next year he'll also be producing some other pop-artists, he can create loads of hits for many.
You should also check new club edit of "Halleluja" and another new demo-track which is already worthy in this phone camera quality.

Eric Amarillo in Nyhetsmorgon

TV4's morning show was visited today by Eric Amarillo who gets his debut album next week out and has got a chance to present his latest singles "Fy Fan", "50 kvm" and another album track "Halleluja" (next single?) to a bigger audience. We like dark atmosphere of performance and that it wasn't in acoustic that doesn't really suits Eric not passing properly his melodic range.

Eric Amarillo - Avatar

Eric Amarillo's self-titled album is gonna be out on October 19th, something that Swedish audience definitely expects after monster hit of this summer "Om Sanningen Ska Fram".
I've already taken a listen of this album and as a big fan of The Attic I should say it's pretty unusual to listen to music of this band in Swedish but Eric knows all those buttons to be pushed when lyrics sticks into your brains even though you don't know Swedish perfectly. Language is not the only difference with The Attic, Eric's album is much more calm and thoughtful that is good if you want to emphasize you're not another not serious dance-act but not so god for fans expecting aggresive dance sound of "Om Sanningen Ska Fram". In fact there's no songs sounding in a vein of Eric's debut smash but still there are some pop-treasures you should absolutely listen to - "Halleluja", "15 minuter fame", "Plus minus noll" create fragile magic atmosphere seems like only The Attic guys are able to make. The biggest hit of the album in our opinion is "Avatar" - absolutely awesome dance record with a story, catchy lyrics and fantastic middle eight (I should say this album contains a lot of outstanding middle eights). Below you can also check a snippet of current single "Fy Fan".

Eric Amarillo - 50 kvm (video)
Few days ago we told you about new Eric Amarillo's single "50 kvm" that raised loads of our nostalgic feelings connected with The Attic's masterpice album "The One" (re-released also as "Remember Tomorrow"). Now we've got a premiere of new Eric's video.
Video is just a cut from ordinary day of Eric walking round the city, singing in the studio and performing some open-air gig, it all goes with a light sadness feeling, actually as a track itself but those dramatical keys will always stay very special and delicious part of The Attic's concept we adore so much.

Eric Amarillo - 50 kvm
Earlier this year Eric Amarillo responsible for one of absolutely biggest summer hits in Sweden this year "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" has performed his new track "50 kvm" visiting Allsång på Skansen.
Finally "50 kvm" is released as a new single in a pack with radio and extended club mix, original version lacks more agressive club-sound of "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" and feels like a step toward clasic The Attic. Below you can check it but I still recommend you to listen to the club version too, not that it's better - it's good in its own way.
Will it become another huge Eric's hit in Sweden? We wish it will!

Rockbjörnen-2011: candidates

Rockbjörnen-2011 candidates are revealed this year and you know what I think looking at Best male category? Seems like Swedish girls audience's getting more powerful and wilder these days, when Eric Saade, Danny, Ulrik Munther and Ola (honestly I sent my vote for Danny, yes, but...) are best male artists of Sweden seems like it shows that this category (of young pop-chaps) gets loads of commercial potential these days in Sweden, will next Melodifestivalen get pop-guy vs. pop-guy next year again?
Alright, moving to other candidates - Tove Styrke, Veronica Maggio, Takida, In Flames, Ola, Eric Saade and Ulrik Munther have gor two nominees. We're personally glad to see September, Eric Amarillo, Dead By April, Roxette, Adele and Jedward in nominees as well (Tokio Hotel again? They've won two of last year's nominees. Have they even released anything since that?). Though there's loads of commercial pop it absolutely doesn't mean it will win (m)any categories but you can affect it voting here.

Sommarkrysset: Sanna Nielsen, Eric Amarillo, Tommy Nilsson

If you told me in the beginning of this year that Eric Amarillo will be all over Swedish TV whole summer I probably wouldn't believe you because we were waiting for The Attic's comeback too long and even if they'd be back we can't imagine dance club-project could be such a huge folk-favorite in Sweden even if it's all sorts of genial. However yesterday we had Eric appearing at Sommarkrysset and performance obviously had a great audience response. It's especially pleasant to see Jessica Marberger at backing vocals after her participation in Shirley's Angels and singing behind Azeris at Eurovision, don't you think? Sanna Nielsen has performed her newest single "Can't Stop Love Tonight" (expectedly) and Robyn's "Be Mine" (absolutely not! But very emotional, strong and bringing reasonable schlager-doze into a whole thing). Finally schlager-veteran Tommy Nilsson was singing two of his biggest hits - "Öppna din dörr" and "Dina färger var blå" with Eric Amarillo accompanying with flute.
Sanna Nielsen - Be mine
Sanna Nielsen - Can't stop love tonight
Eric Amarillo - Om sanningen ska fram
Tommy Nilsson - Dina färger var blå
Tommy Nilsson - Öppna din dörr

Veronica Maggio, Sara Varga, Eric Amarillo and Elisa's in Allsång på Skansen

After mostly male line-up of last Allsång På Skansen this week Måns' had loads of female guests and every artist has made big breakthrough this year.
Melodifestivalen finalist Sara Varga was singing her monster radio-hit "Spring för livet" and new song "Förlåt mig älskling", Veronica Maggio presented "Välkommen in" and "Jag Kommer" from the last album, Dansbandskampen winners Elisa's performed main track of their album "För det här är bara början" with some other dansband-covers (Elisa looked fierce in a Sanna way I should say!). And especially interesting was to listen another big hit of this summer - Eric Amarillo's "Om sanningen ska fram" in rockier live-arrangement and brand new song "50 kvm" (very Orup-sounding). Måns' cover of "Human" was also quite adorable.
Karaoke with folk wasn't interesting this time but you can check it along with whole show here.
Elisa's - För det här är bara början
Elisa's och Måns - Varenda veranda
Veronica Maggio - Jag kommer
Veronica Maggio - Välkommen in
Sara Varga - Spring för livet
Sara Varga - Förlåt mig älskling
Eric Amarillo - Om sanningen ska fram
Eric Amarillo - 50 kvm
Måns Zelmerlöw - Human

New piece of Eric Amarillo's forthcoming album

Eric Amarillo's album is expected to be released this Autumn and it can become a big hit after Eric's single "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" has spent 6 weeks at #1 of Swedish chart and still has a chance to stay on top till the end of summer.
Now Eric gives an audience new teaser of his album - another track in Swedish following "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" formula with its catchy melody, tragical vocal manner and dance sound that gets its own shape separated from The Attic's but adorable in its own way.

Eric Amarillo - Om Sanningen Ska Fram (video)

Around month ago Eric Amarillo from The Attic has presented his new solo-single "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" - track that we put our hope on but didn't expect that everything will go so fantastic for this release.
"Om Sanningen Ska Fram" has rocketed immediately appearing in iTunes-charts of Scnadinavian neighbours and becoming #1 hit in Sweden this week! I should mention that the highest entry of The Attic before was their colaboration with Therese "The Arrival" (and it was just #18) and by the way new Eric's song has made brilliant continuation of this year's trend of dance music in Swedish success.
Single has got support of new video that is live cut of The Attic clubbing, travelling and having fun, nothing new but looking nice and not boring at all.

New sounds from The Attic

How come The Attic guys present so much brilliant new stuff all the time but songs become hits so rarely? But maybe it's better to make some solo-attempts to break through again? At least there's a big chance it'll happen this Summer with new single from Eric Amarillo "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" that already makes success on the radio.
From the first listen "Om Sanningen Ska Fram" has classic The Attic electronic sound with vocal line reminding Patrik Isaksson melodics (tell me if you find this association weird), it's not as soft and poppy as "In Your Eyes" or "The Arrival" but it's incredibly catchy so it can easily become big Summer hit.
Michael Feiner makes two shots with his own track "Vocalise" that he recently has presented on his youtube channel - pretty epic club-track that we're really looking forward and has taken part in recording new dance-track "The Days To Come" with Arno Cost & Arias - and it's probably something closer to The Attic music maybe because of Michael's vocal that you can't mix with someone else.

Michael Feiner & Eric Amarillo - Free

Our beloved Swedish dance-heroes The Attic give us a piece of their new stuff that would be more proper as released Summer single but however it's very generous from them not to keep us waiting till new official releases and to share what they are about already now.
"Free" is ultra-catchy club-track built mostly on Michael's saxophone part, it's not as poppy as "Radiate" that I told you about in May but it has all those things which make The Attic so adorable - amazing tune that you remember from the first listen and can't get out of your head no matter how you try, great energy and always high quality.
Track is not released as The Attic's though, it's not clear for what it means (guys also released another track "Rock N Roll" as Michael Feiner & Eric Amarillo before) but who cares as long as Michael and Eric work together and keep providing us with something new.
