Army Of Lovers - Rockin' The Ride

The biggest comeback of Melodifestivalen-2013 - Army Of Lovers reunion hasn't ended up with a proper success, the band hasn't qualified to the final with their new single "Rockin' The Ride" but expectedly has made a lot of buzz in media finally replacing La Camilla with Dominika and announcing release of new compillation "The Big Battle of Egos".
Except old hits and "Rockin' The Ride" compillation will include covers of Malena Ernman's "Tragedy", BWO's "Love Came Crashing Down" (as "Crashing Down") and the next single "Signed On My Tattoo" featuring Gravitonas.
Right now band is still active with promoting the first single and Alexander Bard expectedly supports new release with a bunch of mixes from Soundfactory, NORD and Madax that you can check here.

Gravitonas - Incredible

Gravitonas' new track "Incredible" premiered this summer during Stockholm Pride was finally released as a lead-single from upcoming "The Hyperborea EP" to be out on October 10th. Tracklisting is already unleashed and will include collaborations with András Kallay Saunders, Rebecca Stella and Rebstar.
Talking about the song, "Incredble" has gone as dancey as Gravitonas can go leading listener through a dramatical BWO-esque verse to a big euphoric chorus. Though visually you get the song as no other previous band's single theoretically it can become a great "Call Your Name" and "Everybody Dance" follow-up which have become project's tickets to radio stations abroad.
Maxi-single has also turned incredible gathering forces of SoundFactory, NORD, Axento and Andy Harding.

Lena Philipsson - Du Följer Väl Med? (Soundfactory mix)

There's no better way to start a weekend than getting some cheerful dance track and original stuff is not the must, we're more than ok with some good remix.
Lena Philipsson has seriously taken promotion of new single "Du Följer Väl Med?" and has released two Soundfactory mixes - club and dub-version. Comparing with album edit Soundfactory mix makes verses more laidback when chorus gets more explosive and loud. Pretty enjoyable weekend dance-treat, isn't it?

Mimi Oh - Säkerhetsnål (SoundFactory Remix)

Mimi Oh keeps delivering new goodies related to her newest single "Säkerhetsnål" which besides fresh video presented few days ago has got new mixes and here's one of them made by club-veteran SoundFactory and though schlager-dancefloor is probably the first thing coming to your mind when you hear this name mix has turned quite electro which fits concept of original track very well, it's cold, elegant but still very dynamic. Enjoy!

Le Kid - We Are the Drums (Remixes)

Le Kid strikes again! This time with a stunning pack of mixes of the latest single "We Are the Drums" from SoundFactory and Fear of Tigers.
I should repeat that personally I was absolutely delighted this song was chosen as the next single being one of the most strong pop-goodies presenting what debut band's album musically is about.
Talking about mixes SoundFactory has offered something quite new for his style with nice futuristic synth-layers and big drums anthemic choruses, Fear of Tigers' mix has become not less enjoyable with its The Sound of Arrows going pop refreshing mood. You can, no, you should, no, you have to check both right below, they can and they will make your weekend!

Night of mixes from September, Gravitonas and Man Meadow

Weekend comes early on Swedish Stereo, we had no mix nights for ages so here we get a bunch of interesting remixes for some actual releases to talk about.
Adam Rickfors who never dissapoints us with his works has made much more dreamy mix than he use to deliver of the latest Gravitonas' single "Lucky Star" moving a bit in Avicii trend of soft not aggresive radio-friendly sound.
Soundfactory has become part of the team responsible for Man Meadow's comeback with single "Eaten Alive" arriving with a solid schlageristic dose on his new mix.
And finally we get a nice edit of recently unleashed September's "Me & My Microphone" video with probably the best remix of this song from Casado & Daif - explosive and clubby.

Lili & Susie - Bailamor (mixes)

We adore Lili & Susie's effort to make everything around their latest single "Bailamor" one big wonderful present for their fans.
Right now you can listen to maxi-pack of mixes from SoundFactory and Andreas Berg in a full length and finally check English version of the track.
Personally I've got used to Swedish version already but English lyrics doesn't spoil the song, what do you think?

Annikafiore - Don't Wanna C U 2nite (SoundFactory Remix)‏

As hardcore Alcazar-lover I can't miss this new video of Annikafiore who recently released EP "Preaching to the Choir" and presenting it with SoundFactory mix of the track "Don't Wanna C U 2nite".
What can I say about it? (by the way you can listen to samples of EP here) I love Annikafiore too much to say what's obvious without mentioning so I'll notice only positive things!
1. Annikafiore is still incredibly beautiful woman!
2. SoundFactory has made a great job and now track sounds closer to the level this talented lady deserves to release.
3. We love the fact Annikafiore keeps fighting for her solo-career.

Sanna Nielsen - I'm In Love (SoundFactory mixes pack)

One of the most respectable Melodifestivalen DJs SoundFactory delivers mix-treatment for the latest Sanna Nielsen's hit "I'm In Love".
Previously SoundFactory has already made mixes for Sanna's "Empty Room" and "Vågar Du, Vågar Jag" and now when Sanna's back SoundFactory equips her with fresh bunch of mixes that you can listen here.
Comparing to other previous SoundFactory mixes this one gets more electronic but still pretty recognizable for him with all the right accents and schlager-culmination on the place that is a good thing as his works have become some sort of Christmas schlager-tree - they just had to appear for one or two melosingles otherwise this MF season won't be complete.

Dance weekend (part 1)

Weekend has started so let's celebrate it with doze of dance-music! From today till Sunday night I'm gonna present you some recent nice mixes I haven't told about but undoubtfully should. So let's start with first three!
Participant of Melodifestivalen-2011 - Jenny Silver has released pack of mixes from Soundfactory for her single "A Place To Stay" right before Stockholm Pride this year. Jenny unfortunately didn't qualify to finals but turned to be one the highest non-qualifiing entries this year (#12). We wonder a lot if Jenny's solo-career will go further as this March she was presenting some other really good new songs in Stockholm and sure Soundfactory's works are always what gets to our spot.

Thanx to Planet Salem for mentioning new amazing mash-up of Axwell & Ingrosso feat. Salem al Fakir's "It's True" and smash hit of Kylie Minogue's "Get Outta My Way". Before this year collaboration of Salem with Swedish House Mafia was one of the brightest highlights of Salem's discography so talented variations of this great track are always welcome!

And finally here's video-tratment for Mikey's Dance Version Remix of the latest Ace Of Base single "All For You" - this is probably most close to original and radio-friendly mix so hope you'll like it as well.

Gravitonas - Religious

Second single "Religious" of new Alexander Bard's project Gravitonas is released and as always Alexander provides whole pack for fans promoting new piece of his music so we get video and single full of the most different mixes for all tastes and dancefloors.
Video for "Religious" turned be great Gravitonas' mystic style continuation of "Kites" but just like the song the video is more positive and meditative than "Kites", though it's still filled with grotesque characters, weird scenes and you can see Alexander and Andreas as psychologist and patient, priest and baptized in Gravitonas religion, visitors of dancing forest people in bizarre costumes, pictures which can remind you some Fever Ray's videos. It turns to be one of the most beautiful atmospherical videos of the year and undoubtfully another bright highlight of Gravitonas.
You should also check remixes from Dada Life, Soundfactory, Video Violence, Adam Rickfors and Anders Nyman, our favorite is the first one, really massive dancefloor killer with electro twist and brilliant buzzing baseline.
Few weeeks ago Gravitonas released their first EP with 4 new songs and in interview to FizzyPop Alexander has told about his plans to release another one and third video before release of album that will be presented not before the end of this year, talking about his previous project BWO Alexander hasn't any plans for comeback considering Gravitonas as his Present that he's totally into right now. You can find many other interesting facts and plans in this interesting interview so don't hesitate to check it!

It's a cruel, cruel summer...

I'm staying quite nasty blogger these days. It's such a weird thing though - every last day on some of my favorite blogs I see bloggers writing about how much they are currently loaded with work, what is it? Maybe just this heat slowing us down?
Well, however not to leave you too bored and to turn you on a bit I'd like to share with you some nice mixes you'd spend this hot Summer along with.
First of all I should mention Soundfactory's best work for last 2-3 years at least. It's made for Linda Pritchard's last single "Miracle" and it's just brilliant with fantastic beat that we could expect from Von Der Burg's team, great scandi-dance bass line, play with Linda's amazing vocal, anthemic choir in the middle eight, totally ecstatic, check it!

Another worth listening mix that I would recommend to you is for Jenny Berggren's last single "Here I Am" made by Sthlm Sound Facility (songwriting team behind the song), very nice trance-work.

Pandora released Euroversion of her currently promoted "You Believed" and this time exactly what you could expect from eurodance-queen - powerful, energetic and very danceable.

Nexx has released in Sweden "Paralyzed" one of songs from their album "Synchronize Lips" in remixed version from DJ Andi. Sounds quite Romanian dance-pop that's sure a good thing (oh, is DJ Andi Romanian? Then I've guessed right!).

Basshunter's new hit "Saturday" has got Almighty treatment as great as Almighty can make. Hope it'll finally convince the world that this song deserves to become hugest hit of Basshunter though it's already widely played across Europe and #21 of UK chart isn't bad at all.

Also you should taste Therese' Alesso remix for "Drop It Like It's Hot" and check fragment of this gorgeous lady's recent performance, isn't she lovely?

And finally don't forget to listen Mohombi's new Chuckie mix for "Bumpy Ride", it's very-very nice as well.

This week Stockholm is full of different music events connected with Stockholm Pride. So everyone who will visit Swedish capital these days will be able to see Sarah Dawn Finer, Linda Bengtzing, Christer Sjögren, Pauline, Rebound, Le Kid, Titiyo, Marit Bergman, Sibel, Jenny Silver, NEO, Hanna Lindblad, Safura, Hera Björk, Lena Meyer-Landrut (not announced officially yet but quite obviously), Therese Grankvist, Anna Maria Espinosa, CC & Lee, Love Generation, Jonathan Fagerlund, Sandra Dahlberg, Ankie Bagger and many-many others. So we're waiting for some live performances leaking soon on youtube.
Cheers friends! Swedish Stereo's turning to a normal working mode very soon.
