One of the biggest Swedish music radio-awards P3 Guld 2013 was held yesterday constantly including some original performances of popular artists.
This year Linnea Henriksson has become the artist of the year and Icona Pop have made a song of the year "I Love It", Norlie & KKV have become newcomers of the year (you can check full list here) and all of them presented their hits live (Norlie & KKV were in with the new single). Loreen and Alina Devecerski as big breakthroughs of 2012 have already given quite atmospheric nice performance so you shouldn't miss them!

Another two pop-diamonds of this music year in Sweden - Miriam Bryant and Linnea Henriksson have become Musikhjälpen guests.
Both have presented their hit-singles of this year (Miriam - "Finders, Keepers" and Linnea - "Lyckligare Nu") and also have premiered newest singles (Linnea - "Mitt rum i ditt hjärta" and Miriam - "Raised in Rain"). You can enjoy their beautiful acoustic sets below.

As the track itself video has turned dark, emotional and corresponding to magic atmosphere of the song.

Another great track "Mitt Rum I Ditt Hjärta" from Linnea Henriksson's debut album "Till Mina Älskade Och Älskare" has become her new single (basically all the best tracks besides "Jag vet nåt som inte du vet" were released as singles).
Beautiful acoustic ballad has got a new version wrapped in beautiful 80th synths, live concert drums and magic atmosphere (the song is magic on her own and reminds me Linnea's "Hope There's Someone" which has become her first Idol's hit), unexpected but wonderful turn. Highlights of Moraeus med mera today definitely were Sarah Dawn Finer and Linnea Henriksson and how actually cool that both performed some new stuff not played at summer open-air shows like Sommarkrysset and Allsång på Skansen. Sarah was performing "Balladen om ett brustet hjärta" from upcoming album "Sanningen Kommer Om Natten" (the song I wouldn't like to be a single but it is) and Linnea presented a song that I would like to be a single but it isn't (at least so far) - "Jag vet nåt som inte du vet".

Lotta and Måns have finished seasons of their summer TV-shows this week, anyway we still have three Sommarkryssets more and a bunch of great performances from Skansen and Liseberg to re-watch.
Except Sarah Dawn Finer's, David Lindgren's and Hagsätra Sport's performances I already told about I should mention wonderful Lena Philipsson's TV-comeback after her husband's betrayal that she has accepted very hard. Linnea Henrikson has got a green light from Christer Björkman to take part in next year's Melodifestivalen. Måns has shaven his beard right during the show. Gina Derawi with Justin Bieber's cover was already a big highlight of the concert in Skansen (she's curent favorite to host Allsång next year by odds if Måns will refuse).

Linnea Henriksson doesn't disappear from radio-liseteners and TV-viewers this year, singer's debut album "Till mina älskade och älskare" has peaked at #26 in official Swedish chart but lately it was holding position in Top-5 on iTunes and "Lyckligare Nu" definitely has a chance to become a hit currently being iTunes #2.
At the same time Linnea manages to record collaborations with other musicians. In the end of 2011 Tingsek has released the album with Linnea as a guest on one of the tracks - "Paranoia Waltz" and this year Linnea has already provided vocals for the band Mainekk's album, the track "Ljyd" to be exact.
Both songs are pretty experimental, non-mainstream but very charming, Linnea can create really beautiful atmosphere with her melodic warm vocal.

Pride week celabration has also left its mark at Allsång på Skansen. One of the most well-known drag shows in Sweden Diamond Dogs has visited Måns with funny Melodifestivalen parody. But also Darin has performed his single-2012 "Nobody Knows" and acoustic version of old hit "Why Does It Rain". And Linnea Henriksson was bringing a big crazy fest with her (like she usually does) and songs from her debut album.

Linnea Henriksson has already proved how flexible but still wonderfully individual she is when she did covers during Idol. And today we've got a chance to come back to that time when Linnea entertained the audience with covers stuff.
The singer has visited Swedish radio to perform... "Lambada"! Linnea and "Lambada"! Could there be more incredible pop-combination? Anyway the cover has turned to be a 2 and a half minutes of a great Friday mood, you just sit and smile widely listening to this...not even a song but a vocal play in acoustic.

Lovely Linnea Henriksson has got a new single from her debut album "Till mina älskade och älskare" out on the radio,
"Lyckligare Nu" has become one of our favorites of the album right after the first listening, it's just like "Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" was written by Orup ("VK/OE" was also co-written by Linnea) and produced by Carl Wikström Ask and goes pretty in the same vein moving from dramatic jazz-pop verse to a wonderfully happy chorus with a beautiful growth.
Great single chioce and hope there will be some more singles - "Jag vet nåt som inte du vet" or "Mitt rum i ditt hjärta"!

Linnea Henriksson's debut album "Till Mina Älskade Och Älskare" has charted in Top-30 last week. Wonderful compilation of music from Veronica Maggio's and Amanda Jenssen's producers with Orup being songwriter behind some of tracks. Linnea enters Swedish market with a warm melodic stuff that was winning Swedish audience last few years infallibly sure bringing her own special sound and songs' growth with explosive choruses that becomes a biggest feature of this album, you should listen to "Din tomma lägenhet", "Lyckligare Nu" and "Jag vet nåt som inte du vet" to understand what I mean.
The latest single "Alice" hasn't got a video for official version but now it has the one for the wonderful acoustic version and you can already check it below.

Linnea Henriksson is on the way to her debut album "Till Mina Älskade Och Älskare" to be out on May 30th, after two singles released she has visited Nyhetsmorgon to perform two more songs to be included in upcoming album, both in Swedish (as the whole album, you can watch tracklisting here).
"Mitt rum i ditt hjärta" is utterly deep melancholic synth ballad changing tempo few times and feeling experimental, maybe even as an improvisation in the end. "Lyckligare nu" is on the other hand starts with haunting rock'n'roll verse switching to a big melodic chorus. Linnea has alreadyso performed her latest single "Alice".

Linnea Henriksson who has made impressive debut with Orup-written song "Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" last year presents new self-written single "Alice" which is already tested on the radio and feels like something with even better commercial potential.
When Linnea's first single has become something completely different from everything you could hear in Swedish music today, "Alice" has much more recognizable sound breathing by Linnros-pop production but having a HUGE melody of chorus, as huge and emotional as probably only Swedes can write leaving it on the other hand very sweet, shy and bright.

It's all about charity in Sweden these days and we should mention another track created for noble purposes in collaboration with Musikhjälpen, Hoffmaestro have come up with idea of recording song with everyone who wanted to get to their site and bring some vocal or instrumental contribution. As a result loads of well-known artists like Adam Tensta, Niklas Strömstedt, Sarah Dawn Finer, Linnea Henriksson, Armand Mirpour and many others have taken part in recording the song "Your Ways".
Hoffmaestro have finally presented "Your Ways" live in Musikhjälpen and it's exactly that special mix of raggae and ska with poppy tune and festive mood you could expect from them, loads of fun is attached as always when Hoffmaestro is in da house. You can check studio-version here.

Annual radio-marathon Musikhjälpen has started so till the very end of the week Kodjo Akolor, Gina Dirawi and Timbuktu will be receiving orders to play songs (which will be payed by people and all money will go for charity).
Like it happens every year we get loads of celebrities coming with live performance and later you're gonna see Eric Saade, Linda Sundblad, Takida, Ulrik Munther, Fibes, Oh Fibes!, Amanda Fondell, Amy Diamond, Erik Hassle and many others.
Today wonderful Linnea Henriksson has visited studio to perform single "Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" and Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter", if you've been touched by her "Crazy In Love" and "Hope there's someone" you should realize how beautiful Linnea was singing this cover.

Video looks mostly like live-cut, not the most high budget video to be honest but we don't care when the song is amazing and we can see the artist we like so much.

Our second favorite Swedish TV-show after Melodifestivalen - Swedish Idol starts today and we're excited as we always are!
We can't call last season very successful, after Jay Smith and Minnah Karlsson have released post-Idol albums with their covers we've got only two singles from ex-participants - Olle Hedberg's "Wonderful" and Linnea Henriksson "Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" but this year jury has changed - we've lost Andreas Carlsson and have got Alexander Bard and Pelle Lidell instead so we're sure policy of selecting participants will be changed and we're gonna get a bunch of new interesting talents.
We'd like to celebrate start of the new season with absolutely best performance of Idol-2010 that still keeps us inspiring and gives goosebumps. Track that was nothing but nice pop-song for us has turned to a real masterpiece!

Oh my God!!! We're so incredibly excited to announce that the most original and talented participant of Idol-2010 Linnea Henriksson is finally back right before the start of a new season.
Last autumn we've come from "wondering what this nice jazzy girl will show us" attitude to "it's the most crazy (in all possible senses) mix of talent and originality we've seen on Idol" delight. Linnea was our ray of light every Friday and now she has prepared something really delicious with the first single "Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" that will be released already tomorrow and which is the first track from upcoming album to be out in the beginning of 2012.
"Väldigt kär/Obegripligt ensam" is written by Linnea with not less than Orup and produced by Carl Wikström Ask who was involved in a work on the latest Daniel Adams-Ray's and Veronica Maggio's albums. Result screams to be compared with Veronica Maggio's music but I can't, with Linnea's intimate vocal manner it's something closer to September's covers on Så Mycket Bättre, but it's a one wild and original piece of pop incomparable with anything we've heard in Sweden (it was supposed to be so with Linnea, right?). Idol-2010 has finished few weeks ago but right now gang packs their bags for a new tour around Sweden with favorite songs and best performances but without jury and voting, not like competitors but friends and we hope that it means audience will fall for more of them and will give them their hearts and artisitic future.
Speculations flow about next Idol season to be the last because of catastrophically low viewing numbers of Idol-2010 and as well possibility of showing Swedish version of X-Factor instead. Peter Jihde has announced that he's not going to be host of the show next year, it's unclear yet who will be next jury but I pray this amazing show that gave so many amazing artists to Sweden won't be closed and will get a new breathe next Autumn.
In the last week of December Idol runner-up Minnah Karlsson has entered with her debut album at #5 of Swedish chart, the winner Jay Smith has stayed at #1 and what about the rest of talented participants? Many of them were invited to some tv- and radio-shows to demonstrate their talents one more time. For example Linnea, Olle, Geir and Andreas Weise have become guests of morning show on tv to sing acoustic cover of Bob Sinclar's "World, Hold On" putting loads of personality in every vocal part. Also third place of Idol - Olle Hedberg has come to Förkväll to perform his version of "Talking about a revolution" covered by him on Idol and also "Christmas in Washington" in acoustic.
