Swedish~ Stereo~

Lotta and Måns have finished seasons of their summer TV-shows this week, anyway we still have three Sommarkryssets more and a bunch of great performances from Skansen and Liseberg to re-watch.
Except Sarah Dawn Finer's, David Lindgren's and Hagsätra Sport's performances I already told about I should mention wonderful Lena Philipsson's TV-comeback after her husband's betrayal that she has accepted very hard. Linnea Henrikson has got a green light from Christer Björkman to take part in next year's Melodifestivalen. Måns has shaven his beard right during the show. Gina Derawi with Justin Bieber's cover was already a big highlight of the concert in Skansen (she's curent favorite to host Allsång next year by odds if Måns will refuse).

Linnea Henriksson - Alice
Linnea Henriksson - Härligt härligt men farligt farligt
Christer Björkman och Lotta Engberg - Sånt é livet

Lena Philipsson - Stjärnorna
Petra Mede & Anna Granath - Peace 3007
Anders Lundin och Måns Zelmerlöw - Gå upp och pröva dina vingar
Måns Zelmerlöw - Änglahund

Another show inviting Eric Saade and Molly Sandén lately is Lotta på Liseberg. You probably also expect Diamond Dogs here again as well but no we've got After Dark's Christer Lindarw with his parody and a bit of "Euphoria" which has turned not less enjoyable.

Tone Damli - Look back

Robin Stjernberg has finally got his big TV-premiere of the summer single "On My Mind" and we still adore a big voice this guy have. Definitely looking forward to his new stuff. Nanne was mostly presenting songs from her tribute rock-album and you know that this woman is an internal source of energy so this was another time when she was generously sharing this energy with the audience.

Markoolio - En vecka i Phuket
Markoolio - Rocka på
Robin Stjernberg - Michelangelo
Markoolio - En kväll i juni

I've lost a path of latest few weeks of Allsång på Skansen and Lotta På Liseberg shows so I've decided to summarize them in one post if you've missed.
Andreas Weise has presented his solo-stuff on both shows - "Another Saturday Night" and his own song "Shine".
Really was nice to see Christer Björkman doing "I morgon är en annan dag" that he was singing back in 1992 at Eurovision in Malmö. Hopefully next year's Melodifestivalen winner will be much more lucky than Christer was.
Icona Pop definitely was on fire and after their Allsång performance were praised by iTunes #1.
Tomas Ledin had a tribute at Allsång and not just Sarah Dawn Finer has come out on stage with him but David Lindgren, Niklas Strömstedt, E-Type and Måns have joined to sing Tomas' Melodifestivalen history here at 47.16. Later you can also watch Tomas singing with Eva Dahlgren.
Sonja Alden has come back on TV to perform lovely summer schlager "Våga" from her latest album in Liseberg, Björn Ranelid has brought sweet Sara Li to Skansen and Caroline af Ugglas doesn't miss summer TV-season since her Melodifestivalen breakthrough.

Lotta has no luck with weather this year, viewers again had to sit in raincoats so the artists had to bring the heat with their performances.
Today it was all about musicals. Lotta has arranged a mini-musical with participation of all artists. And except always fabulous Charlotte Perrelli and Youngblood singing songs from their latest albums we had a nice portion of ABBA with Göteborg's Opera singing Chess and Lotta making "Dancing Queen" karaoke.

All Stars musical
Charlotte Perrelli, Lotta Engberg, Youngblood, GöteborgsOperan - Musikalmedley
Yougblood - Du är så underbart rar
GöteborgsOperan - Vem ser ett barn, Mitt hjärtats land
Lotta Engberg - Dancing queen

Schlager-newcomer, schlager-veteran and some schlager-dinosaurs that's what new episode of Lotta på Liseberg was about. Sean Banan has smoothly moved from Skansen to Liseberg with a new single "Sommar I Sverige" while Linda Bengtzing has appeared from schlager-nowhere to strike with her (always) energetic performance of "E Det Fel På Mig". Was also nice to see Melodifestivalen-winners Arvingarna and Christer Sjögren joining Lotta to sing "Don't Let me Down".

Linda Bengtzing - Teddybjörnen Fredriksson
Arvingarna - Semester
Sean Banan - Blommig falukorv
Christer Sjögren - My way
Christer Sjögren - I love Europe
Arvingarna - Bo Diddley/Eloise
Sean Banan - Det gör ont

Hooray!!! Lotta på Liseberg is officially back-back-BACK!!!
What does it mean? It means that we're gonna get weekly dose of our beloved artists open air in Liseberg.
First ones were Di Leva and Lisa Miskovsky with their Melodifestivalen-2012 hits, Lill-Babs with a good old schlager "Jag vill leva" and Danish guest Rasmus Seebach with our most beloved song "Sirenerne" out of his latest stuff.

This summer ex-BWO singer Martin Rolinski has pleased an audience with comeback single "Blame It On A Decent Matter" delivering recognizable electropop sound he used to explore in band so fans response was obviously positive but there's still loads of promotion work to be done as easily entering iTunes-chart single hasn't appeared in official chart yet.
Here we get a first mix of "Blame It On A Decent Matter" from Video Violence starting as some epic historical drama soundtrack going heavy beat electrosound and getting into darkest dub-mix afterwards. It contains whole pack Video Violence usually provides in their works and a bit more.
You should also check Martin's summer performance of the single at Lotta på Liseberg, we've missed it to mention so here you get it.

Season of summer open-air tv-shows is over and as we've missed some really nice performances we're gonna summarize them all before Swedish tv will offer some new music autumn goodies.
Linda Pritchard's performance at Lotta på Liseberg was a real highlight of this season, girl could easily blow stage's roof away by her incredible voice singing her Melodifestivalen song "Alive", Christina Aguilera's "Show me how you burlesque" and classic hit "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from Broadway musical Dreamgirls.
As newcomer Linda has hard times proving she deserves love of Sweden but coming out on the stage she gives 200% of her own and it can't be left unnoticed by the audience.

Yesterday was really tragical day for Alcazar's fans. Band was giving their last performance at Stockholm Pride before freezing the project for an indefinite period.
Not to dramatize it too much Alcazar's members don't say they are breaking up completely and they don't deny possibility to perform in a close future if some huge foreign TV-show will ask them but they stop working on new music for now and will concentrate on their own careers - Andreas in musical, Lina on TV and Tess doesn't seem to have any big plans.
Though we can't enjoy whole Alcazar's set yesterday in a quite good quality we still can read interesting report about it on fabulous Schlagerboys blog and check band's visit to Lotta på Liseberg earlier this summer and (like they always do) Alcazar gave 100% of joy, life and disco every time they were out on the stage.
Let's hope it won't take too much time before next glorious comeback of this truly legendary pop-band.

Yeah, I know I've missed few episodes of Lotta på Liseberg and I will tell you what's interesting you could watch there tomorrow or on Wednesday but my heart has just exploded when I was watching at Liseberg singing Danny's "In The Club" together, something incredible! I have now words... No, I have - you can also check Danny's performance of "Tonight" and public reaction was MASSIVE as well!!!

Ulrik Munther's acting superstar presenting stuff from his upcoming album track by track but this boy is superstar for real! It's less than month before album release and we already heard 6 of 11 songs and can say that album's getting more and more exciting.
New track "Alburn Road" holds pop-rock direction of whole album, summerish candy for American radio stations, we love it and with all that promotion Ulrik currently gets visiting the most popular Swedish tv-shows like Allsång på Skansen and Lotta på Liseberg we can guess (at least we really hope) everything's gonna go well for Ulrik's debut.
By the way below you can watch Ulrik performing another new song "Sticks and stones" and his biggest hit "Boys don't cry" at Sommarlov.

Yesterday Lotta Engberg has made big present for us inviting artists we love especially - Malena Ernman, The Poodles, Pauline, Christoffer Hiding and Swingfly. How can we categorize them all? You wouldn't expect any of them to appear at Melodifestivalen but they were there and succeeded quite well (probably Pauline not so much but still Andra Chansen is someting).
Malena was singing her biggest hit "La Voix" and fresh single "I det Fria", Swingfly performed his latest singles "Me and my drum" with Christoffer Hiding (receiving absolutely fantastic public reaction - you could expect it at least won Melodifestivalen) and Pauline has joined guys for "Little did I know". The Poodles were performing acoustic versions of their classic hit "Night of passion" and new single "Cuts like a knife", Evert Taube's "Änglamark" and "Skönheten och odjuret" together with Malena. Another guest of the show was Talang-2011 patricipant Rasmus Eriksson with "Änglahund" and his ows song "Cowboy superstar". Watch whole episode here and best pieces below.

We can say that the latest Lotta på Liseberg was all about diversity. Three absolutely different pop-artists but all of them are really beloved in Sweden and most of the audience definitely had someone to pick. We had Ola who performed the latest single "Riot", Astrid Lindgren's "Idas sommarvisa" and took part in few potpurris, Thomas Di Leva was singing his own songs and Christer Sjögren mostly performed covers of old popular songs. We can't help but mention also nice remake of The Moniker's "Oh My God!" by Mats Liljeberg and performance where Lotta's guests have made covers of each other Så mycket bättre-style. Watch whole episode here.

Ola - Idas sommarvisa
