In the pack of the second single "Sannignen" from Petra Marklund's platinum album "Inferno" we've got not only the video presented few days ago but EP with remixes from Alaa and Punchy.
While Alaa has delivered clubbier dance-sound, Punchy remix has got a juicy electronic production. You can check both of them below.

Quite expectedly "Sanningen" has become the next Petra Marklund's single succeeding very well after "Händerna mot himlen".
Big dramatic electro-ballad has got a video premiered today on Aftonbladet's site and this is probably Petra's darkest video ever. Song was written by Jocke Berg and in a pack with this video you can feel Kent's atmosphere even better.

Annual sport awards Idrottsgalan-2013 has gathered some actual artists as it happens every year and this time among event's guests you could see Eric Saade performing his newest single "Marching (In The Name Of Love)" with a big drummers band, Petra Marklund flying under the roof of Globen while performing her hit "Händerna mot himlen" and Sarah Dawn Finer doing very touching performance of "Med Dig Vid Min Sida" in a memory of passing sportsmen.

While Petra Marklund's latest single "Händerna Mot Himlen" is on the way to become a hit of this autumn in Sweden we get some great remixes of the song and this time from Alex Lamb who already was working on September's "Me & My Microphone" and this time he has turned the track to an absolute club-killer with a perfect growth from dreamy verses production to a heavy anthemic chorus. The song is marked as an official remix and will be released soon.

As it was expected by massive success of the first Petra Marklund's single "Händerna mot himlen" release of her album "Inferno" was also followed by success and the record has gone straight to #1 with a lot of tracks getting into the chart.
The highest currently charted song (except unbeatable #1 "Händerna mot himlen") is "Sanningen" - the song which was already promoted previously and seems like it was a right choise. "Sanningen" sounds like a more electro-ballad follow-up of the first single moving in unhurried tempo and its mystic bubble created by Petra's voice and Jocke Berg's tune.

Petra Marklund's first single "Händerna Mot Himlen" from upcoming album "Inferno" was definitely more than welcome in Sweden. Track holds iTunes' #1 already quite a long time and seems to be what country was waiting from Petra since her rebirth at Så mycket bättre. The album is out in two weeks and while waiting we can look for some other goodies like this wonderful unofficial mix made by Hellberg reminding about September's dance-past. I love how this track presses all the right buttons not changing core melody but making it a big dance anthem.

Petra Martklund who celebrates 28th birthday this week has made a gift for herself and her fans releasing new single "Händerna Mot Himlen" and also presenting a video today.
This is probaly the darkest video Petra has ever made but it fits the atmosphere of the song very well making a picture of her new music image whole, clear and pretty inspirational.

Today's big premiere of Swedish radio was comeback of Petra "September" Marklund who has made a presentation of her brand new single "Händerna Mot Himlen" from upcoming album "Inferno" which is out on October 17th under Petra's own name.
Petra was working with Kent's Jocke Berg on her album and you can feel it very well in "Händerna mot himlen" which is basically 70% of Jocke melodically (I would be less surprised to find the track on Kent's album) and 30% of Petra - her voice (Petra is still unique vocalist that you can hardly mix up with anyone else) and dance-beat breathing with Petra's glorious dance the past ("Satellites" maybe?). I expected the song to sound like nothing out of English part of her last album and really wanted her to do a follow-up of that dark electronic side she has presented at Så Mycket Bättre. But surprisingly it also doesn't follow that direction. Instead we have a Kent's melancholic song wrapped in strings-meets-dance production concept. Remember Andreas Lundstedt describing "Aldrig Aldrig" as a melancholic track in Swedish that you can dance and cry with? This could be a proper description of "Händerna Mot Himlen" as well and the same rhythm and strings makes these tracks almost relatives. Anyway I believe this direction will become more successful for Petra than for Andreas and right what her career in Sweden needs at the moment. To show that she's not another dance-artist but a serious musician able to show some serious stuff.

Lately Petra "September" Marklund was mostly hidden from cameras and a huge Swedish public attention she had in 2011 after Så mycket bättre success. The reason is that she was in the studio recording new album with Kent's Jocke Berg. The album that was planned to be out already this year (October 24th is release date for now) under Petra's own name and to become a quite darker than September's music with references to a sound of Coldplay, Florence and the Machine and Depeche Mode.
While we're waiting for Petra's album here is the song she was working with Michel Zitron (Save The World, Jennie Let Me Love You, Fade Into Darkness, If Only You) and his constant collaborator Tobias Gustavsson.
Songwriting team has joined forces with the project Lissi Dancefloor Disaster from Uppsala and come out with a great electropop-gem "Singing My Heart Out" based on a Miike Snow-breathing keys leading us through an utterly dramatical tune creating a very dark and special atmosphere with Josefin's vibrating vocals.
If this is direction Petra Marklund currently goes in her own stuff I absolutely don't mind and can't wait for her new album even more impatiently.

Though we can't tell you anything optimistic about new September's stuff coming soon (Petra's crusade for a new hits to UK and USA has just started and the last album needs loads of promotion to be done outside of Sweden) you can enjoy some rare Petra's goodies released on other artists' albums that I bet you didn't know about.
Back in 2007 Petra has joined Joachim Bergström and Magnus Lindgren on a record of album "You’d Better Love Me" to sing Roberta Flack's cover "Feel Like Makin’ Love" in a duo with Joachim. Result has turned to an utterly pleasant intimate jazz track with voices of both artists softly curling around each other in a peaceful atmosphere created by live band music.
