This year season of summer tv-shows starts lately but finally it's here. Allsång På Skansen, Lotta På Liseberg and Sommarkrysset have already announced lineups and the first show to start is Lotta På Liseberg with (like it's always actually) heavily schlageristic staff including Sanna Nielsen with her brand new single "Can't Stop Love Tonight" (really wise summer choise in our opinion!), acoustic version of "I'm In Love" and Peter Lundblad's classic "Ta mig till havet", Orup with medley of his old hits ("Stockholm", "Regn Hos Mig", "Då står pojkarna på rad") and the newest single "Huddinge" performed with Le Kid (!!!), Swedish singer Loa Falkman and Eurovision-2009 winner Alexander Rybak who recently released Swedish traditional album and hasn't missed the moment to present new stuff. Artists of Roxy Recordings use to collaborate sometimes and mostly it relates to cases when Le Kid's guys write and produce music for other artists these days and this is exactly one of those cases.
In the end of last year Orup has released his successful album "Född I November" - very nostalgic but at the same time modern produced and beautiful work with lovely light taste of 80s but can we blame Orup for his music memories when he established himself as quite popular musician and songwriter in Sweden.
New single "Huddinge" that in original album version sounded quite close to Orup's recent #1 hit with Lena Philipsson "Nu när du gått" has got new version produced by Le Kid's Felix and Märta when Helena and Johanna were on backing vocals duty. Song has got lovely dance beats, 80ies smelling synths and tons of Le Kid's atmosphere - slightly retro, massively positive and poptastic as everything guys do.
Single will be released on June 1st and later Orup will perform Huddinge with Le Kid at "Lotta på Liseberg" on June 20th.

Thomas "Orup" Eriksson presents new single "Född i November" and is ready for release of same-name album later at November 24th.
Thomas is well-known and beloved artist with huge backgroung going back to 80s when he has started his career performing with big stars, presenting on Melodifestivalen-1989 (taking 2nd place) and releasing #1 albums. In 90s he tried to make break through to USA with album "Orupean Songs" and single "My Earth-Angel". Later together with Anders Glenmark and Niklas Strömstedt they've built successful trio GES and another #1 album. Thomas didn't stop to make some new solo-albums and write for different artists and collaboration with Lena Philipsson turned to be the brightest union when Lena won Melodifestivalen-2004 with Orup's song "Det gör ont". They kept working together and released common album 2 years ago, guess what place have it taken in chart? Right! Another first place in Orup's history.
In the beginning of this year Thomas released his first comeback single "Tiden Bara Gick" - dynamic life-asserting track full of Martin Stenmarck's singles uplifting energy. New song "Född i November" is another beautiful growing track with magic atmosphere, massive orchestral chorus, loads of amazing strings and charming eletric gutars in middle eight.

Just a few weeks left before one of the main cultural events of this year in Sweden - marriage of princess Victoria and Daniel Westling and Stockholm's already preparing for this royal celebration. This Sunday when Sweden will be celebrating National Day (as always with some exciting open-air concerts in Stockholm) 2-weeks festival LOVE Stockholm 2010 will start with different activities all over the city and will finish on 19th June in a day of Victoria's wedding. These days Stockholm will see performances of artists like Darin, Carola, Alexander Rybak, Anna Bergendahl, Timoteij, Salem Al Fakir, Erik Grönwall, Orup, Martin Stenmarck, Moto Boy, Ola, Cookies N Beans, Shirley Clamp, Anne-Lie Rydé, Sanna Nielsen, Fibes, Oh Fibes!, Alice Svensson, Rebound, Nanne, Rigo, Amy Diamond. As it happens every year this summer we'll be able to catch many open-air tv-performances on Swedish TV, probably it won't bring as much joy to pop-followers as attendance of famous Rix-FM festival and if you come to Sweden in closer few months I extremely recommend you to visit it. Well, those who can't visit Sweden can follow shows like Sommarkrysset, Allsång på Skansen and Lotta på Liseberg (to name a few). Yesterday we could see first show Sommarkrysset this year from park Gröna Lund in Stockholm and it has given us premiere of Orup's new single "Tiden Bara Gick", spring hit of this year "Manboy" by Eric Saade and performance of Swedish pop-queens Velvet and Linda Bengtzing with "Victorious" in all their fabolousness and amazingness with guest performance of the winner of Brittish X-Factor Alexandra Burke, not less than EMD were the hosts of the show yesterday and next week show will be hosted by fröken Bengtzing with performance of Timoteij, Eric Gadd and Rebound.
