Robyn has marked some biggest American shows with her appearance this year and this weekend she was invited to Saturday Night Live hosted by her partner by tour - Katy Perry.
It's not the most exciting news in Robyn's life lately. With Avicii and Swedish House Mafia she's got to Grammy-2011 nomination Best Dance Recording with "Call Your Girlfriend" and though it's gonna be a real tough fight to get there is already a big win that this artist has really deserved.

First season of TV-show True Talent has finished with the victory of Dimitri Keiski - guy with a loud rock-voice honestly we couldn't fall for. Instead we've got a big tasty pack with another contestant I was mentioning before.
Emma Fällman was shining with completely every song she was singing on the show, what a look! What an attitude! What a great voice!!! It's getting more and more difficult for new Swedish artists to break through lately not playing indie or elecronic music but it will be a crime if this girl won't release anything poptastic while public interest is still warm.

Can you remember the latest time when any Swedish artist was taking American TV with a storm visiting such a huge TV-shows like The Ellen Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live? At least I can't but who else can represent Sweden on international pop-stage better than this amazing lady can do these days?
Robyn has appeared recently on these two big shows with both her comeback single of 2010 "Dancing On My Own" and her brand new "Call Your Girlfriend" giving it all like she usually does and getting positive response from the audience, you can enjoy performances right now.

Triumphal winner of the latest Grammis awards Robyn doesn't plan to slow down tempo of creative activity that was truly on fire last year and spends a lot of time in studio working on new stuff. Does it mean that we'll get new album already this year? Not really clear but what's known for sure is that we'll get another single "Call Your Girlfriend" from the latest part of "Body Talk" series and it already gets massive mix-treatment from Kaskade that sounds like a huge club-anthem we really looking forward to listen it in a full version. Few months ago audience of Oskar Linnros' concert could enjoy great live mash-up of Oskar singing Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" with "Från och med du" arrangement and now this idea gets official release and immediately reached the top of iTunes-chart in Patrik Berger mashup. You can already enjoy it below.

There are pretty much happening with Robyn constantly this year so I've got a bunch of stuff to tell about.
First of all Robyn performed her first #1 hit in Sweden "Dancing On My Own" at American VMA with Deadmau5, unfortunately it was just around minute cut but still if there's any of European artists who can refuse to get it, please stand up! So here at 6.07 you can watch Robyn performing "Dancing on My Own" in the mix.
Right now before release of the third part of her trilogy "Body Talk" Robyn is presenting her new single "Indestructible", acoustic version of this song was presented on the second part of "Body Talk" so as it was expected it has got electro-arrangement in a style of "Hang With Me" and "Dancing On My Own" but a bit less commercial and sounding more like remix of previous version (in my opinion).

However that's great to get new material from Robyn and soon we're gonna get another 4 new songs on "Body Talk Pt. 3" - "Time Machine", "Call your girlfriend", "Get myself together" and "Stars 4-ever", the rest is 5 songs from the first part and 5 songs from second. And finally you should check fresh lovely performance of early Robyn's hit "Show Me Love" right in the centre of Stockholm at Sergels Torg, it's wonderful how you completely flow into this performance, beautiful!

Swedish Stereo is on the way back after small pause with updates caused by unexpected loads of job leaving me totally no free time to speak about so much of interesting stuff that I intended these days. I really hope you're still with me and we're coming back with what (or to be more accurate WHO) I left you with last week. I mean Robyn.
Surprisingly fast Robyn released new video for her forthcoming single "Hang With Me" and the video itself is cut of Robyn's life episodes on tour - performing, signing, spending time with her musicians, recording, playing, well, all of those things artists are about touring, it's very nicely shot by Max Vitali who also directed "Dancing On My Own". Single due to the last information from Robyn's site is planned for 16th August in Scandinavia, 17th August in the US and Canada, 3rd September in Germany, Switzerland and Holland and 5th September in the UK and Australia. Few days ago as well robyn.com revealed tracklist and cover of the second part of "Body Talk" trilogy so you can find it below.

Just a few hours ago Robyn performed her latest hit "Dancing On My Own" on popular American David Letterman Late show looking as always stunning, charismatic and worth watching every second of performance. It's not the first time when Robyn was invited to this show, two years ago she has already performed there with "Cobrastyle" being supported by Teddybears on the stage. By the way last Robyn's album "Body Talk Pt.1" has already entered Top-100 of albums chart in U.S. (#97) and "Dancing On My Own" reached #3 in Billboard Hot Dance Club chart. In a few days Robyn and Kelis will start their North American All Hearts tour with amazing Dan Black and Far East Movement as supporting acts so let's cross fingers for the first and forthcoming parts of "Body Talk" to finally make a big break through on U.S. market.

Our beloved Poster Girl has just presented best news for today. Robyn's new single was aired on Radio 1 and the song is all kind of amazingness! It sounds like "Handle Me" melodics wrapped into "Dancing On My Own" sound. Great follow-up of the last single and comparing with "Dancing On My Own" this one sounds less tragic but not any less beautiful. The song (surprisingly for me) turned to be cover of Paola Bruna and you can hear original version on MuuMuse blog and convince yourself how far new version went from it. Earlier this year Robyn released acoustic version of this song on the first part of her trilogy "Body Talk Pt. 1" and on September 6th she plans to release new single along with the second part of "Body Talk".

7 months have passed since Emilia De Poret released her amazing last video "Now Or Never" (thanx to scandipop for tips about this amazing video) and though currently there's no sign of any promotion-activity of her music in Sweden her biggest hit "Pick Me Up" has recently entered Billboard dance chart in USA (together with Robyn's "Dancing On My Own", BWO's "Right Here Right Now" and Stonebridge's "The Morning After"). Today Expressen premieres new Emilia's video for another single "This Ain't a Love Song" from her album "Pick Me Up". It's very stylish half-animated video that was shot in Tokyo with Japanese hip-hop star Verbal directed by Marcus Lundin who was also responsible for "Now Or Never".

Robyn performed her new single "Dancing On My Own", should I even mention that it was amazing? I guess no as Robyn can't do any other way and girl was awarded with #1 of Swedish iTunes today. Another new single "Crash And Burn" was performed by Idol-winner Erik Grönwall, quite energetic performance with powerful Erik's vocals and band Fashion behind him (I'll tell you about this amazing project later), weird that on the other hand it didn't help him a lot (#189 on iTunes). Cookies & Beans sang just released single "I Just Don't Have The Heart" from their last album "Beg, Borrow and Steal" with their special voices. Audience has also got a chance to hear already well-known hits like "Du Gör Min Dag" by Petter and "Famous" by Play who obviously made another great performance and was met very warm by folk in Gröna Lund. Finally Rigo premiered his new cover-single of Arrow "Hot Hot Hot" as Crossfire with choir he's gathered in recent season of show Körslaget.

Just a week ago I told you about new Robyn's single "Dancing On My Own" and now video for it is released! The video suits track perfectly, has something common with previous Robyn's videos like "Be Mine" but visually much more interesting with dark shots of dancefloor mass and Robyn in front of the spotlights cameras looking very stylish, beautiful and doing some cool choreography. Well, you'd better check yourself!

After Robyn's comeback with single "Fembot" becoming as spontanous as successful (her performance in Swedish-Norwegian talk show Skavlan has brought a lot of attention to new single and top places in iTunes-charts of both countries) singer's preparing her next release from upcoming EP "Body Talk Pt. 1" - single "Dancing On My Own" (written with Patrik Berger), due to her twitter she shot the video for it last weekend. The single is out on the 13th June but tracks have already leaked and you can find 2 amazing mixes - very atmospheric club Fred Falke's one and another mix made by Buzz Junkies, it turns this beautiful song from meditative electro-pop follower of "With Every Heartbeat" to amazing summer dancefloor anthem.
