Swedish TV as it happens every year presents some wonderful schlager/pop-stars in its Christmas shows. Bingolloto has brough whole bunch of Melodifestivalen-stars - Sanna Nielsen. Magnus Carlsson, Sean Banan, Yohio, Lotta Engberg and Christer Sjögren singing some beautiful Christmas or their own stuff. By the way show has become the first big TV-presentation of Yohio who will take part in Melodifestivalen-2013 very soon. You can watch the whole show here and some separate performances below.

Schlager-newcomer, schlager-veteran and some schlager-dinosaurs that's what new episode of Lotta på Liseberg was about. Sean Banan has smoothly moved from Skansen to Liseberg with a new single "Sommar I Sverige" while Linda Bengtzing has appeared from schlager-nowhere to strike with her (always) energetic performance of "E Det Fel På Mig". Was also nice to see Melodifestivalen-winners Arvingarna and Christer Sjögren joining Lotta to sing "Don't Let me Down".

Bingolotto celebrates 20 years anniversary so we've got nice music gift from TV4 gathering recent Christmas tour colleagues Elisabeth Andreassen and Marie Serneholt, Idol Robin Stjernberg with one of covers from his compilation "My Versions", Christer Sjögren with Eurovision-classic "Djingis Khan" and Håkan "Nordman" Hemlin with new solo single "När Stockholm somnar in". Nice selection for the most different tastes.

Christmas is closer and some schlager-veterans go on tour to spread a Christmas mood around Sweden like for example Christer Sjögren, Pernilla Wahlgren and Gunhild Carling uniting their forces for a series of shows.

Pernilla Wahlgren is the only Melodifestivalen-2010 finalist who hasn't released anything after the contest so it's pleasant she's finally back. Christer is gonna perform next year at Melodifestivalen with Lotta Engberg by rumours so it will be a good promotion for him as well (even if rumours will stay rumours).

What are you gonna do if you're 61 years old schlager-veteran and you're invited to the show where Eric Saade and Jedward use to perform? Well, you can try to sing Lady Gaga to keep it trendy and funny.
What if your angels have left you but you're gorgeous pop-diva with old Melodifestivalen hit still beloved by folk? Just do what you have to do, babe, and don't forget to make it all a bit more creative with, for example, Håkan Hellström's cover!
What if you're Takida and you've got to one stage with Christer Sjögren and Shirley Clamp? You're in trouble guys. It's Sommarkrysset. Probably the weirdest ever.

We can say that the latest Lotta på Liseberg was all about diversity. Three absolutely different pop-artists but all of them are really beloved in Sweden and most of the audience definitely had someone to pick. We had Ola who performed the latest single "Riot", Astrid Lindgren's "Idas sommarvisa" and took part in few potpurris, Thomas Di Leva was singing his own songs and Christer Sjögren mostly performed covers of old popular songs. We can't help but mention also nice remake of The Moniker's "Oh My God!" by Mats Liljeberg and performance where Lotta's guests have made covers of each other Så mycket bättre-style. I guess you guys have already mentioned how crazy this blog is about Melodifestivalen and everything MF-related. It's just a week left before first semifinal preparation will take part but as I want this great music celebration to start already now I'll be giving you daily tips about what's going on in schlager-bubble before the start of Melodifestivalen-2011.
Let's begin with this recently premiered exciting melotrailer with Marie Serneholt, Rickard Olsson, Eric Saade and taxi driver who's not gonna drive anywhere before discussing Melodifestivalen with someone on the phone.

And the latest exciting news! Earlier it was announced that Lena Philipsson and The Ark will perform in interval act, now Dalarnas Tidningar reports that other artists will be Christer Sjögren and Nanne Grönvall. Common idea of interval acts will be rolling around character of world producer "The Hurricane" (played by Peter Stormare) able to make a star of completely any artist. Firstly we'll see meeting of Peter and artist and then we'll get a live-performance of artist as probe of new star. During Stockholm Pride week Linda Bengtzing, Anna Bergehdahl, Jill Johnson, Sarah Dawn Finer and Magnus Carlsson gave English interviews to oikotimes and great news are that both Magnus and Linda are definitely want to come back to a big spotlight of future Melodifestivalen. Linda seems to be especially eager about comeback. Unfortunately Sarah is not so eager about it but doesn't want to say she'll never do it again. Well, you'd better check it yourself right below.

And you can also check some well-recorded performances during last week. Second record of Rebound's performance is a bit distorted with agonizing dying fans but this is what actually makes me laugh to tears everytime I hear it.
