Swedish~ Stereo~

Though I've already posted the most of Icona Pop's tracks from new Iconic EP I have no right not to share them in a full pack presented on band's soundcloud page. I have at least two reasons - radio-version of "Ready For The Weekend" which has become this year's unexpected but incredibly good club-experiment of the project. And the second one is updated version of "Top Rated" released last year but becoming harder and more electronic, real pop-anthem. Next single? Yes, please!

Anna Sahlene has performed the newest single "Horns of Mississippi", earlier this year she has come back with a ballad "Jamie". "Horns of Mississippi" shows that Anna is definitely on experimental way as this is jazzy retro-pop that should work well for a summer open-air performances. You can also watch Tomas Andersson Wij, Wallmans ensemble and Icona Pop performing their latest single "I Love It".
And yes, there was Ivi!!! Ivi Adamou who represented Cyprus at Eurovision with Swedish song which has climbed up in Swedish chart higher than "Euphoria" - the only really big hit of Eurovision-2012 in Sweden (except "Euphoria"). Ivi was on fire, she never sounded so well. Hope she'll stay in Sweden for a while to make another hit with local songwriters!

Tomas Andersson Wij - Sturm and drang

Latest Swedish pop-sensation Icona Pop work on their international breakthrough and you can already find girls in US Dance iTunes chart at #30. Not bad for a newcomer?
Today girls have visited Nyhetsmorgon studio to also make a tv-promo in Sweden and have performed their latest hit "I Love It" and previous singles "Nights Like This" and "Manners" giving loads of energy and isn't it actually wonderful how their voices work together live? I love it!

Icona Pop girls are back with a new single "I Love It", not directly anything comparable with some of their previous singles.
And I also can't say if it's my cup of tea but I'm too interested in them not to write about this track.
It's shouty, pop-punk, based on a heavy electronic sound and have a nice party-feeling anyway so there will be a lot who'll like it.
