Three years after Emilia De Poret's "Pick Me Up" album release singer presents track "Weightless" from it as a new single in US.
Though initially song was a ballad it has got a dance-cure from Planet Funk but without that heavy expression you can expect from team's own tracks. It's trancey, soft and chillout, we still adore album version of "Weightless", utterly emotional and deep ballad written by Arnthor Birgisson, Gordon Chambers and Savan Kotecha and can enjoy new version as well. Just a few days ago we've got incredibly sad information that Lovestoned - band that gave us one of our favorite Swedish pop-albums of 2010 has split up half a year ago. And now first Idol season's winner Daniel Lindström comes back with his own version of Lovestoned's track "I Know Nothing" that was actually written by Daniel with Fredrik Larsson and Stephen Simmonds and never was released by Lovestoned as separate single in Sweden (only in Germany) so it's gonna sound fresh for ordinary listener.
Talking about the song - instrumental part is almost equal to original mix of raggae-pop and soul, Daniel's unique vocal-manner still drags the song to his own area of music image and personality and it's still very good track but definitely not miles away from Lovestoned's version.

Banana maniacs Dada Life present brand new single "Happy Violence" - another club stomper with recognizable heavy buzzing sound becoming the main feature of their recent tracks.
This time video for the new single is mostly live cut of Dada Life's performance, it's all about crazy rave joy as actually everything this project delivers. This sound doesn't get old for us. Increase volume and start the day!

Or actually not? However it feels like we were choosing our favorites in webjoker-contest just yesterday but season of new Melodifestivalen webjoker-selection starts already in a month.
New rules are published and we're summarizing new format:
September 1-20 - SVT receives webbjoker entries.
September 21-30 - jury of channel selects 32 songs.
Since October 3 - every week people and SVT will be choosing their own semifinal winner.
(Around) November 7 - webjoker final will be held with 8 winners of semifinals (4 chosen by public + 4 chosen by SVT).
Only one winner will get to the main contest this time.

After multiple leaks and duos with the most different international artists Mohombi presents his new official single "Maraca" produced by RedOne and co-written by Mohombi and RedOne with Geraldo Sandell (we don't know anything about Geraldo except the fact that he participated in Idol-2004) and Jimmy Thörnfeldt (Baby Alice, Cam Tyler, Kick).
"Maraca" sounds like follow-up of Mohombi's collaboration with Nayer and Pitbull "Suave (Kiss Me)", it's catchy, summerish and enegretic track with recognizable RedOne's production.
Single will be released tomorrow but we can already listen to it today.
