Sarah Dawn Finer and Samuel Ljungblahd - Is Anybody There

The wait is over for Sarah Dawn Finer's fans as her new single "Is Anybody There" is on the way and the artist has presented it yesterday in Nyhetsmorgon studio with Samuel Ljungblahd.
Though we expected it to become something heavily Christmas inspired it has turned to be soul track closer to the first Sarah's album, quite melodic, a bit dramatic and absolutely enjoyable.
Next Friday Christmas compilation of Sarah and Malena Ernman "En Riktigt God Jul" should be released with some songs from the latest Christmas albums of both. Also both singers have recorded "Strålande Helgonfé" in duo, Malena has made a new cover to "Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle" and "Is Anybody There" will also be included.
Sarah has also performed two Christmas songs from "Winterland" - "Wintersong" and "Angel" and I should say that the first one was one of the most touching music moments for the recent few months for me. What an incredible voice!

Nordisk Julkonsert - 2010

Annual Nordisk Julkonsert has taken place in Ålborg with loads of Scandinavian (and not only) stars again. TV-audience as usual could enjoy incredibly beautiful stage, hall decoration, dresses, live arrangement and performances.
This year among invited stars you could see Erik Hassle, Sylvia Vrethammar, Kristian Anttila, Sissel Kyrkjebø, Alphabeat, Marie Carmen Koppel (Melodi Grand Prix 2009), Samuel Ljungblahd, Mario Frangoulis, Shakin' Stevens and Suzanne Vega. Before I pointed you to his performance with Alphabeat's Stine and here below you can watch him performing another hit in Denmark "Don't Bring Flowers When I'm Dead" and as well performance of Samuel Ljungblahd with Marie Carmen Koppel, Samuel is quite interesting soul-artist that had quite big demand this year and hopefully we'll hear more from him next year.

Night of schlager-duets

Here is a small weekend treatment for all schlager-crazies.
Magnus Carlsson and Pernilla Wahlgren performed old Pernilla's hit "Svindlande Affärer" on Bingolotto and what can you expect from a couple of Melodifestivalen-veterans? Right, highest concentration of schlageristic energy with all those schlager-poses, singing back to back and 100% perfect vocals.
Nanne took part in current season of Doobidoo and performed Alice Cooper's "Poison" with comic Måns Möller and though vocal is not the strongest Måns' side but still Nanne always brings loads of joy to the stage and together they looked really not bad.
And a little bit bit slowing down tempo - another Doobidoo-duet - gorgeous Lisa Nilsson and Samuel Ljungblahd performed cover of Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack's "Where Is The Love", it's not schlager but calm soul performance, very enjoyable as both artists are the owners of very beautiful vocals so hope you're gonna like it!
