X3M feat. Pandora - Drottningen av Åland

Today (after yesterday's premiere) we get a new track from Pandora, though isn't it great when the artist works in a full creative mode?
This time Pandora has recorded song in Swedish "Drottningen av Åland" with X3M, the song was produced by JS16 who worked on Pandora's single "You Woke My Heart" and has made a remix to "Why" so the artist performs in her comfortable eurodance-area her fans will absolutely accept. And you know what? It's another track you can download absolutely for free here ad also watch a big party video below. Loads of summer presents from Pandora this year.

Pandora - Kom Igen!

More artists try to make a contribution before the start of European Football Championship this year. The first was E-Type with a remake of his old hit "Campione", now we have Pandora who releases her unofficial Euro anthem of Sweden ”Kom igen!” that she has written with Joakim Säreborn. The song was produced by not less than Niclas Kings and it's a big sport anthem powdered with traditional schlager-sound. Not what you could found on Pandora's latest album but it's cheerful, light and worthy.
By the way you can download it for free on Pandora's site.

Nyhetsmorgon with Pandora in Russian

It's not really often when you can listen to singing in Russian in this show, however Pandora has apeared on TV4 today with Stacy to perform their collaboration "Why" and another solo-track "Until the hurt is gone" from the latest Pandora's album. It's pity this mini-gig was lacking some dance track but we've got nice acoustic medley of Pandora's ols hits.

Pandora - Head Up High

Though I told you about new Pandora's album "Head Up High" already in April it has taken a bit longer to get to Sweden and it will be released there on November 23rd.
But what I'd like to mention as Melodifestivalen-fan first of all is recent spicy revelation of Pandora about title track which was rejected from Melodifestivalen-2010.
"Head Up High" was written by Pandora with lately quite popular DJ Anders Nyman and the track is purest disco-joy, we don't have idea how long it could go in competition but as a track representing new Pandora's album it sounds pretty awesome though not reflecting common style of the album, as I said before it's pretty different but it's really enjoyable dance-album.

Pandora feat. Stacy - Why-Magistral

Pandora keeps working on East-European direction after remaking her old track "Why" from the album "Changes" (1996) with young Latvian singer Stacy.
Team tries to promote the song in Russia and here you can see a new attempt - recently shot video for this song.
Talking about the song, its really nice remake serving good for its aim and target audience, it gets some buzz and hopefully video can drag more attention.

Pandora - Head Up High

Six years have passed since eurodance-queen of 90s Pandora has released her latest album "9 Lives", fans should've waited really long though Pandora generously was saving them from this completely hungry diet with 1-2 or even 3 singles in year.
Now the wait is over and the album "Head Up High" is ready to see the light. You can already stream whole album below (or check it on Pandora's site).
What does actually Pandora-2011 sound like? I should say that "Head Up High" is pretty amazing collection of all shades of europop Anneli explored last years. Almost classic sounding disco ("Head Up High", "Turn It Over"), some sort of schlagerized electropop ("You Woke My Heart"), Summerish latino-pop ("I Found Love"), modern europop ("Wild Boys", "Off The Hook"), few ballads ("Why", "Until The Hurt Is Gone") and sure old good eurodance ("Ice Cream", "You Believed") covered in modern arrangement but still with screaming choruses, rap and eveything that should cause your nostalgic feelings if you remember and love that era of pop-music.
If you're into Swedish dance-pop you should find at least few tracks you'll fall in love with and if you don't believe don't hesitate to check yourself right now.

It's a cruel, cruel summer...

I'm staying quite nasty blogger these days. It's such a weird thing though - every last day on some of my favorite blogs I see bloggers writing about how much they are currently loaded with work, what is it? Maybe just this heat slowing us down?
Well, however not to leave you too bored and to turn you on a bit I'd like to share with you some nice mixes you'd spend this hot Summer along with.
First of all I should mention Soundfactory's best work for last 2-3 years at least. It's made for Linda Pritchard's last single "Miracle" and it's just brilliant with fantastic beat that we could expect from Von Der Burg's team, great scandi-dance bass line, play with Linda's amazing vocal, anthemic choir in the middle eight, totally ecstatic, check it!

Another worth listening mix that I would recommend to you is for Jenny Berggren's last single "Here I Am" made by Sthlm Sound Facility (songwriting team behind the song), very nice trance-work.

Pandora released Euroversion of her currently promoted "You Believed" and this time exactly what you could expect from eurodance-queen - powerful, energetic and very danceable.

Nexx has released in Sweden "Paralyzed" one of songs from their album "Synchronize Lips" in remixed version from DJ Andi. Sounds quite Romanian dance-pop that's sure a good thing (oh, is DJ Andi Romanian? Then I've guessed right!).

Basshunter's new hit "Saturday" has got Almighty treatment as great as Almighty can make. Hope it'll finally convince the world that this song deserves to become hugest hit of Basshunter though it's already widely played across Europe and #21 of UK chart isn't bad at all.

Also you should taste Therese' Alesso remix for "Drop It Like It's Hot" and check fragment of this gorgeous lady's recent performance, isn't she lovely?

And finally don't forget to listen Mohombi's new Chuckie mix for "Bumpy Ride", it's very-very nice as well.

This week Stockholm is full of different music events connected with Stockholm Pride. So everyone who will visit Swedish capital these days will be able to see Sarah Dawn Finer, Linda Bengtzing, Christer Sjögren, Pauline, Rebound, Le Kid, Titiyo, Marit Bergman, Sibel, Jenny Silver, NEO, Hanna Lindblad, Safura, Hera Björk, Lena Meyer-Landrut (not announced officially yet but quite obviously), Therese Grankvist, Anna Maria Espinosa, CC & Lee, Love Generation, Jonathan Fagerlund, Sandra Dahlberg, Ankie Bagger and many-many others. So we're waiting for some live performances leaking soon on youtube.
Cheers friends! Swedish Stereo's turning to a normal working mode very soon.

Pandora feat. Matt Hewie - You Believed

We've got another video-premiere today and this time from Anneli Magnusson aka Pandora.
Pandora became well-known dance-brand of 90s when Anneli was chosen to be a vocalist of club-project headed by producing team Hit Vision (Martin Ankelius, Peter Johansson and Henrik Andersson), her debut single "Trust Me" was a huge hit giving Pandora's career a great push for loads of further singles and albums which successfully reached public around the world - Australia, Japan and sure Scandinavia were conquered by this Swedish dance-bomb. Anneli's music movement never stopped, in 00s she tried herself in schlagerland at Melodifestivalen (in 2003 with "You" and in 2004 with "Runaway") and though both times she was left in semifinals it also couldn't destroy her. In 2007 Pandora released compilation of her biggest hits "Celebration" giving mix-refreshment to their sound (one of refreshed pieces of that era of Pandora "Call Me" entered Top-5 of Swedish chart) and turned to a new music stage of her career. In 2009 together with Bloom 06 they released new single "Kitchy Kitchy" (becoming another hit in Sweden - #7) and by rumours Pandora tried to return to Melodifestivalen with another new song "You Believed" but didn't qualify and released it later in 2010, single reached Top-3 and now has got video treatment, check it right here right now.
