Fresh piece of Mattias Andréasson music hasn't taken too long.
Here we have a newly presented track "Bara För Ikväll" which going in the same direction as "Förlåt Mig" and "Stänga Av" but is the purest r'n'b of this family working very well with Mattias' mild vocal.
As I already said Mattias builds quite interesting music concept so I hope that unleashed traffic of his new stuff will end up with a finally released debut album.

Hmmm, so Mattias Andréasson's promise to start bringing some goodies on his Youtube channel is coming true faster than I supposed.
Today he presents acoustic version of his Melodifestivalen-track "Förlåt Mig" and it's even more beautiful than you could have imagined, hypnotically beautiful I'd say!

Ex-E.M.D. member Mattias Andréasson who has made a promising debut at Melodifestivalen-2012 with the single "Förlåt Mig" prepares new stuff and has performed some of it at Stockholm Pride this summer.
The first song he has decided to share in a studio quality is "Stänga Av" or to be exact - just a piece of it whiсh shows that Mattias holds direction of "Förlåt Mig" as the song is a dramatic r'n'b in Swedish with dark electronic production.
I think Mattias was one of the most interesting and freshest discoveries of this year's contest and it's a shame that he hasn't qualified because he has a good original ground to find his audience in Sweden and I hope he will.

One of the best and the most underestimated songs of this MF-season - "Förlåt Mig" performed by Mattias Andréasson was covered by vocalist of the band Snöblind we've put under the spot in 2011 - Jim Almgren.
Jim was initially discovered for Sweden on Idol-2005, then he has become a guitar player in well-known American rock-band Carolina Liar and now he works in Snöblind. You absolutely should check two pretty cool Shellback-produced singles they released not so long ago.
Jim's "Förlåt Mig" has logically got rockier-sound, not too heavy and not universe away from original but with a proper impression and nice guitar layer.

New bunch of Melodifestivalen participants is delivered and we check 1-minutes rehearsals of next schlager-heroes of this year.
Youngblood have presented "Manboy"-cousin armed with torches and Thomas Benstem's choreography. Maria BenHajji has brought 203 candles and her upgraded schlager-ballad. Mattias Andréasson from E.M.D. starts his solo-career with American electronic pop-mix of Oscar Linnros r'n'b direction (my absolute favorite of this semifinal by snippets). Love Generation are back with RedOne's marching dance-tune and Alex Sparrow-inspired show from Sacha Jean-Baptiste. Carolina Wallin Pérez has melancholic indie-track, bunch of drummers and butterfly-confetti. Andreas Johnson doesn't break what worked well for him when he has started with "Sing For Me" arena-oriented pop-rock. Molly Sandén's song is Leona Lewis-sounding dramatic ballad that I can't compare with any other song Molly did before but I save my judgments before I'll listen to it in a full version. And finally Swedish writer Björn Ranelid with ex-Caracola Sara Li. I'm not even gonna try to understand that buzz around Björn, I'll be just enjoying Sara Li's lovely bubblegum-part that sounds especially good after Björn's "there-is-such-a-promising-dance-production-so-read-faster-and-let-the-chorus-start" part.

Due to information from tv4.se popular boy band E.M.D. consisting of 3 ex-Idol participants - Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo soon releases second album that's gonna be a tribute to hits of 90s. I should mention that band's life lasts not much more than 2 years but guys has already managed to make 4 #1 singles (+ one #3 and one #22) and #1 album (+ another Christmas album). Was it good idea to make covers-album? You can already judge yourself. First single from album is real classics of Swedish pop - Eagle-Eye Cherry's debut single "Save Tonight" from 1997, world-wide hit that reached #6 in UK chart and #5 of US chart. Cover turned to be incredibly nice and pleasant ballad with very beautiful instrumental part. You can listen to it right now.

Winning last season of "Let's Dance" was not the last happy news in the family of Mattias Andréasson (Idol-2008, E.M.D). Expressen reports that in the end of autumn Mattias' girlfriend Catarina Norén will give him a child. Couple didn't think about engagement and right now Mattias is busy recording second album of E.M.D. First single is out very soon and just like band's first single from previous album it will be cover again. This time Eagle-Eye Cherry's "Save Tonight"!
