Holidays are on so I'll keep on sharing Christmas cards and live-performances at least whole this week and here is another Swedish artist sending congratulations to fans - Anna Bergendahl singing two songs from her latest album.

Anna Bergendahl's new album "Something To Believe In" is ready for release on October 24 and already now you can listen to all songs' snippets.
Earlier we've already got the first taste of the album with EP including songs which were already included in the album's tracklisting.
EP has given a probably too concentrated and dark core of what's new Anna is about, the album in common sounds as a lighter but still very sad, a little tired and undeniably beautiful autumn mix of country, soul and pop-rock in a basically ballad tempo. While on the first album Anna was in a search of her style now it feels that she has found her path, the album feels very holistic without any song looking unnecessary in a pack. No matter how successful this album will be this is the mature work to be proud of.

Today I've received some wonderful romantic letters from Anna Bergendahl made as origami-birds and containing pieces of her latest single's lyrics. How sweet is that!!!
I always loved you, Anna! This blog's followers know it. But I didn't expect it to be mutual.
So let's continue our relationships next way - you write beautiful songs (like those ones on your newest EP) and I love you even more with every release and tell the world about it. We're gonna be a perfect couple!

Anna Bergendahl returns with a new album "Something To Believe In" planned to be out on October 24th and as a sneak peek she has released "Anna Bergendahl EP" on ITunes today. Recently released "Live and Let Go" single surprisingly hasn't got a follow-up in the same direction. Instead we've got a pretty dark songs collection with Anna going more mature and thoughtful comparing with songs from her debut album. Anyway country inspired "Fun", ballad "Wrong" which seems to be Anna's answer to Sarah Mclachlan's "Angel" and blues downtempo "Love, Me" come up in an utterly sad autumn soundtrack and beautiful advertisement of upcoming album.
You can watch Anna's performance with EP songs in Nyhetsmorgon below but I'd recomend to check studio-versions of songs, this stuff isn't that minimalistic and much more atmospheric on a record.

Melodifestivalen-2010 winner is officially back, Anna Bergendahl presents the video for her comeback single "Live And Let Go" which was already premiered on the radio last week and the song is released on iTunes today, currently climbing up to #12 which is a very good sign that I hope will be supported by some TV-promotion.
Video has become very summerish, sad and beautiful as the song itself.

Two years have passed since Anna Bergendahl's Melodifestivalen victory and very busy year after which she has stopped recording process but still was touring in Sweden. Finally she's back with a new album "Something To Believe In" to be out in October. Anna was working on the album in Los Angeles with producer Larry Klein (Melody Gardot, Tracy Chapman, Joni Mitchell) and the first single "Live And Let Go" has already arrived on the radio.
"Live And Let Go" is a beautiful slightly country-inspired Autumn ballad where Anna sounds more mature but still have her touching factor that has won over Sweden on Idol and Melodifestivalen and I do hope she will do it again this time.

It's a big week for Gravitonas's fans, the band presents a video for the latest single "Call Your Name" that has already got success on the radio in Eastern Europe and finally new EP "Black Ceremony" is out and you can already get a listen below.
Though "Call Your Name" has become surprising turn of band's direction to a club territorry whole EP sounds completely different refflecting the title, it's much darker, slower and rockier. Biggest highlights of "Black Ceremony" is epic rock-ballad "The Pain We Love To Hide" and "Live And Let Go" that sounds like a rock-sister of Robyn's "With Every Heartbeat". Army Of Lovers's fans will also be plesantly surprised finding dance-track "Sacrifice" - remaking chorus of "Crucified" and at the same time sounding quite BWOesque in verses.
In common EP feels like a new era for the band and this era is celebrated with "Black Ceremony".
