Gathania - Nobody's Breaking Me

So we've guessed right in February, sneak peak of new Jonas von der Burg's record has become a new Gathania's single "Nobody's Breaking Me" and now you can watch full it in a full length online.
What is actually Jonas von der Burg? It's an utterly enjoyable pop-stuff with a slightly dramatic vocal line and nice production tricks sticking in your head immediately. And this time you have a full pack with Gathania's vocals that we loved since we've heard her performing what has become her debut single "Blame It On You" afterwards at a little live-event.

New music from Gathania

Seems like we've lost Gathania's path forever, her last single "Spinning" was released almost two years ago and since that she has appeared only in the music theme to Swedish TV-show "Kär & Galen". But the wait is over as 4 On The Floor label has unleashed a snippet of the track with Gathania's vocals from Jonas von der Burg's studio (Gathania has also announced today on her Facebook page that she has prepared new Jonas' produced single). Snippet in the video sounds in pretty recognizable dancetastic Gathania's style with loads of vocal attitude and if you love Jonas' productions you're gonna enjoy this track a lot too!

Gathania - Heart Of Mine / Don't Bring Me Down

Gathania Holmgren has become real pop-sensation few years ago when leaving her bright mark at Idol-show this sweet girl with very special beautiful voice has come back with support of best Swedish dance-pop producing team - brothers Von Der Burg who delievered some huge international hits for September, Da Buzz, Velvet, Alcazar, E-Type and many others.
Gathania has released three strong singles "Blame It On You", "Get It Out" and "Spinnin'" getting to the spot of European labels and foreign audience trying to break through in UK, it hasn't come as successful as it was expected but Gathania is young, talented and ready for a new tries but for those of you who couldn't get enough of just three singles here are two other tracks released on her album sampler for Britain that probably you didn't listen before - "Heart Of Mine" and "Don't Bring Me Down"!
As you could expect both songs are dance tracks and when "Don't Bring Me Down" is more direct dance track with catchy tune that you could wait from people who wrote hits for September and Lucky Twice, "Heart Of Mine" is more mysterious but still utterly tasty track more in a vein of "Get It Out". However both tracks are just brilliant and you should give it a listen right below.

Ferró - Bailamos (on the Floor)

Artist who delievered one of the biggest Swedish pop-hits of 2007 - Valentino is back!
Ferat Amin has started his way in music back in 2003 when he entered a casting of popular tv-show Fame Factory. Earlier in school years he aimed to become football player but discovered huge music talent that has turned his way and pushed him to send demos to different labels and participate in castings. Luck didn't follow him on Fame Factory but finally releasing single "Hayati" mixing best traditions of Swedish pop and Eastern origin of Ferat (and by rumours reject of Melodifestivalen-2006) he's made big breakthrough entering Top-10 of singles-chart. Later he released another great single "What is Love" and disappeared for few years after that.

This year Ferat is back as Ferró with new single "Bailamos (on the Floor)" from not less than great team Jonas and Niklas von der Burg and Anoo Bhagavan who are responsible for amazing stuff for September, Nexx, Lucky Twice, Gathania, etc. that went so well in Europe last 5-6 years. "Bailamos (on the Floor)" contains all the brilliance of dance-stuff being released by this team - amazing tune, crazy dance beat and bassline that stuck in your head once and forever, with special Ferró's vocal and lyrics painting new image of Ferat as hot Argentinian caballero it works 200%. Hopefully soon this song will be another international hit from brothers von der Burg and Anoo Bhagavan.

Thanx to Poster Girl and scandipop for making me take a more attentive look at this song and find out the story behind it as unforunately there's no official site or webpage devoted to Ferró yet.

Connect Marie back!

Seems like year before Swedish pop-princess Marie Serneholt asked to disconnect and un-attach her too realistically as Swedish audience understood it literally. Marie (ex-A-Teens, independent solo singer with amazing Top-10 debut album "Enjoy The Ride" that you need to listen right now if you didn't manage before and girl of Måns Zelmerlöw that you can see in post below) has made comeback with song "Disconnect Me" written by Peter Boström & Tony Nilsson for Melodifestivalen-2009. Though she entered as joker (special participant with the biggest attention to her and impressive backgound) she finished 6th in semifinal and single has peaked only on 46th place of Swedish chart, beautiful video also didn't help. After it comeback of Marie as pop-singer was hidden from public (though she told about new songs written with Tony Nilsson) and girl decided to try some new directions - she became SVT's Eurovision staff expert in show “Inför ESC 2010″, was a host of Swedish National Day and has made debut as artist in musical "Grease" along with Sebastian Karlsson (Idol-2005). Due to rumours she rejected offered song "Spinning" that was released in the end of last year by Gathania and currently "Disconnect Me" is promoted in the mix of Oscar Holter in Russia. But we're still waiting for your new stuff, Marie!!!
By the way Marie is diligent blogger, you can follow her active life here.
