Swedish~ Stereo~

Our yesterday's highlight of Musikhjälpen was loveliest Linda Sundbad.
We saw Linda with acoustic performances pretty a lot on TV this year (the fact that we're really happy about actually) but this performances has got a nice feature - cover of Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" which has turned to be pretty entertaining as on paper we would find it hard to imagine how Linda would sound with it but she did it great singing also the latest single "Trasig".

Let's make the beginning of a week more cheerful with new works from (probably already) dance-veteran of Swedish club-music Ali Payami who has come up with two fresh mixes for the latest singles of two faves of our blog - Linda Sundblad and Loreen.
Loreen was already working with Ali on "My Heart Is Refusing Me" and Linda on "Oh Father". Both mixes have become quite laidback and atmospheric, not what I can directly see being played on the dancefloor but both versions are really beautiful. Check!

Teasing us whole summer with live versions of her newest upcoming single "Trasig" Linda Sundblad finally presents studio version of this track that will be officially released in October.
Honestly we couldn't make any realistic conclusions on acoustic versions except the fact that it's gonna be more lyrical follow-up of "Intim" in Swedish. Now Linda Sundblad's new music direction is getting more clear to us, "Trasig" is soft melodic electropop track that definitely has a lot common with Veronica Maggio's music but Linda having bigger pop-artist background makes a bigger emphasis on what's required from vocalist when it goes about pop-music when Veronica just lets it go.
We absolutely love this song and utterly intrigued by this new stage of Linda's career that's gonna lead her to something fresh, experimental and exciting.

Lucky, lucky us... Linda Sundblad's next Swedish single "Trasig" is on the way and singer promotes her new music in acoustic sets all over Sweden latest months, we could earlier check her new single in Nyhetsmorgon and today Linda has become a guest of XL live performing "Intim", "Trasig" and absolutely new track "Händerna På Täcket" in acoustic. Sure we follow Linda with all those warm Melodifestivalen memories of her lovely acoustic performance in Stockholm we were lucky enough to visit this spring.

Around month ago swetest Linda Sundblad presented her new experimental work "Intim" - first single she's done in Swedish and we really appreciate this step. Linda who easily found a way to Swedish hearts with her debut solo-album "Oh My God!" wasn't so lucky with the second so now it's time to find something new and seems like she catches it well with melancholic Oscar Linnros' feeling of new track "Trasig" - another new song in Swedish but more lyrical and thoughtful. Not sure if it'll keep acoustic sound in studio-version but however it's gonna be something interesting to follow Robyn-esque electronic "Intim".
