Fredrik Kempe is one of the most popular and successful Melodifestivalen songwriters, every single year his songs participate in the contest and at least one of them becomes hot public favorite.
It all has started back in 2004 when Fredrik has entered the contest performing his own song "Finally" that reached Second Chance round and has ended up with three winning songs ("Hero" (2008), "La Voix" (2009) and "Popular" (2011)). 17 entries during 7 years (he has missed 2006) but we don't have a doubt that after "Popular" success this number will get bigger in the next season.
This week Fredrik has performed potpurri of his most successful hits with Stockholms Musikkår Tre Kronor at Allsång på Skansen, I bet many melofans was wondering how these songs will sound in songwriter's version so here they are - "Manboy", "Hero", "Hope & Glory", "Moving On", "La Voix" and "Popular".

It's less and less competitors at Dansbandskampen-2010 with every week and at last show we've got whole bunch of beloved Melodifestivalen hits.
Pure Devine performed quite powerfull version of Barbados' "Kom Hem" in Sanna style vocal, I'd say it was too good for retro dance-party. Elisa's performed Charlotte Perrelli's winning song "Tusen och en natt" and as original version is quite dansbandish and vocalist has strong voice it all worked quite well (but how great would it be to be performed by Wizex where Charlotte sang before her Melodifestivalen breakthrough in 1999). CC & Lee performed Ola's hit "Natalie", not the best vocal performance of our faves but still it's quite difficult song in verses so we forgive it. Patrik's Combo has made cover for season's hit "Manboy" and though it hasn't impressed me maybe you'll find it funny. How do you think? Also we've got some covers of Timbuktu, Shirley Clamp, Caroline af Ugglas and Sandi Thom - less interesting but still you can check them below. Jeppez and the Cowboys left competition, I've finally got three favorites (Pure Devine, Elisa's and CC & Lee) and dansband-race keeps moving.

Just like clip for Eric's biggest success - single "Manboy" it's live video with the cut form Summer tour of Eric (it's gonna rain, it's rain manboy so you're gonna see a lot of wet Eric) but like in a case of "Manboy" not to keep fan bored by version that they played for months we're getting new live-version of the song with live instruments that's really appreciated and creative solution. New dance-show Dansfeber on TV4 featured today two highlights we can't pass by.
Jenny Berggren has gone pink and blonde and performed Marilyn Monroe's "Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend" from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes that looked quite impressive taking into account that Ace Of Base never used choreography a lot. Politician Fredrick Federley has tried to repeat Eric Saade's Melodifestivalen show including absolutely everything (and water as well). Was it good enough for politician? Unfortunately none of them won (journalist Ronny Svensson has taken place in the final instead) but it was enjoyable to watch, by the way you can see Pernilla Wahlgren as member of programme's jury.

Anders Lundin presented second episode of tv-show Allsång på Skansen and the biggest highlight for all pop-fan audience undoubtfully was performance of Eric Saade who presented two last singles - as always very well choreographed performance of "Manboy" and "Break Of Dawn" with funny moment of leading out on the stage happy crazy fan in the end. Winners of Dansbandskampen The Playtones performed Alexander Rybak's "Fairytale" and their own song "Excuse Me". Also audience could enjoy performance of Mikael Wiehe, Marie Küler, Marie Bergman, Wille Craaford & Marika Willstedt (you could see Marika on Melodifestivalen-2010 performing with Jessica Andersson on cello), foreign guests invited to Skansen were Australian Ten Tenors.
