Erik Emanon - The Art Of Letting Go

Finally Erik Emanon's EP "The Art Of Letting Go" is out and we directly add Erik to a (very short for now) list of the most innovative pop-artists of 2012 from Sweden.
Surely you haven't missed his debut "Breaking Love" and have noticed the track "Finding Neverland" I was talking about last week. EP has also included intro and two more tracks - "Nangijala" and "When Roses Wither" making a better picture of Erik's music concept. I'd call his direction as a disco-dubstep with a good pop-feeling and "Nangijala" not overloaded with electronics (what you can easily expect from this genre) and delivering a great tune is probably the best example of summarizing what "The Art Of Letting Go" is.
If you're pop-fan who hasn't managed to get on board of a new dubstep-era yet you absolutely should check this EP and realize how nice this new period can be.

Erik Emanon - Finding Neverland

Two months have passed since our fresh discovery Erik Emanon has presented his wonderful dubstep-ballad "Breaking Love" we've noticed directly and the follow-up of this work is coming sooner than we expected. Already this Sunday on July 15th Erik releases EP "The Art Of Letting Go" and the wait is getting more excting as we get another piece of it - new track "Finding Neverland" that you can check yourself here.
Imagine Frankmusik's pop-joy moving from dreamy dance-verses into a heavy club rhythm and mix it up with a reasonable dose of dubstep and Erik's sensual vocals and you'll get a "Finding Neverland". Very delicious and original track still remaning quite popstatic!

Erik Emanon - Breaking Love

If you think Erik Emanon's reminds you something you are attentive reader of Swedish Stereo and remember that I mentioned him as a remixer working on Mimi Oh's single "Säkerhetsnål".
Now Erik starts his solo-career and his debut single "Breaking Love" was premiered with a video that you can already watch below.
"Breaking Love" is a pretty special track, it's a ballad with a slight r'n'b-influences and heavy dubstep-sound. I'm pretty sure that this sort of dubstep-ballads has a big (and very close) future so it was pretty smart to release this track in such a right time when this trend just starts being popular. Erik sounds good and looks appealing so probably we have a new Swedish pop-star on the way?
