Swedish~ Stereo~

Swedish pop-extravaganza Straight Up! are back with a new single "Family" that they've presented a teaser for in the beginning of May year and now they have come up with a new video.
Guys keep moving in the same direction - "Family" is another electro-powdered dance-track with huge hands-in-the-air choruses. This is more clubby and more straight-forward than previous duo's songs. Black and white video being an elegant treatment for this song is out today and you can already watch it below.

Though Christmas weekend has gone we keep catching all Christmas/New Year celebrating music highlights and here we get a release from duo discovered for Swedish audience outside of blogosphere during last Stockholm Pride.
If you remember Straight Up! has become responsible for Pride's official anthem "Show The World Tonight" and few weeks ago they've released nice Christmas tune "XXXmas At The Disco" presented online already year ago.
Already from the title it's disco-oriented track but not in classic disco-way, it's much more electropop but still very festive and containing utterly catchy chorus getting stuck in your head from the first listen.

Stockholm Pride week has already started and as it happens every year the city gets loads of live gigs where you can see many Melodifestivalen (and not only) artists. Сulmination of Pride's music side will happen on Thursday at the big schlager-gala featuring not only local but some international Eurovision stars, names are kept in a secret for now but hope there will be some proper videos from this event to share with you.
This year's official Pride's anthem is provided by Straight Up! - band that left slightly controversial impression for us with their debut single "Twink" but we were finally convinced after we've heard their really good Christmas track "XXXmas at the disco".
Pride's song "Show The World Tonight" has also impressed us being modern, nicely produced pop-song serving it goal fantastic. Now we've also got animated video for it. Are those dick-guns a bit too much? No? Ok, as I already said we love the song and wish happy Pride to everyone who celebrates it these days in Stockholm or anywhere else!
