Sommarkrysset: Icona Pop, Anna Sahlene, Ivi Adamou

Saturday night fun with Sommarksysset and loads of live performances from the artists we constantly write about.
Anna Sahlene has performed the newest single "Horns of Mississippi", earlier this year she has come back with a ballad "Jamie". "Horns of Mississippi" shows that Anna is definitely on experimental way as this is jazzy retro-pop that should work well for a summer open-air performances. You can also watch Tomas Andersson Wij, Wallmans ensemble and Icona Pop performing their latest single "I Love It".
And yes, there was Ivi!!! Ivi Adamou who represented Cyprus at Eurovision with Swedish song which has climbed up in Swedish chart higher than "Euphoria" - the only really big hit of Eurovision-2012 in Sweden (except "Euphoria"). Ivi was on fire, she never sounded so well. Hope she'll stay in Sweden for a while to make another hit with local songwriters!
Lilla Sällskapet - Jag Vill Ut

Around year I was defining my reaction to a special electronic stuff from Lilla Sällskapet with a series of hmm...well...untrivial videos but pretty catchy tunes instantly sticking even if you're not into this genre. But come on! It's still very pop so here is a new single "Jag Vill Ut" from guys' debut album "Om Vingarna Bär" - another soft electronic party track (ok, not directly party in mainstream pop terms) with massively infectious chorus which has got a video premiered today and John Dahlback's remix that you can download for free with another mix from Turn here.
And don't forget to check Lilla Sällskapet's previous videos - "Genova", "Morgonen Efter" and "Om Vingarna Bär".

Till The Final Euphoria Ends

I wasn't mentioning some nice Swedish pop mashups quite long because we didn't have something really impressive. But I have a strong wish to write about these new ones.
Putting hand on my heart I can't say that Jacob Giliov's mashup of Loreen's "Euphoria" and Brithey's "Till The World Ends" is technically as good as it could be BUT it has an interesting idea which is the main thing when it comes to a mashup! And with a cool video cut it has become quite entertaining.
Oh! And you should also check another "Euphoria" mashup with Europe's "The Final Countdown" and Katy Perry's "Fireworks" that I was writing about on twitter but here's a good reason to remind you about it. This is also really-really worth listening!
Vincent goes clubby with Nause and Dada Life

One of our most beloved Swedish artists Vincent Pontare has got two of the strongest summer-2012 club-anthems in Sweden.
Though Vincent and club-music can be a very successful combination if you remember that he was an author of Swedish House Mafia's "Save The World". But now he also delivers his own vocals for two singles of Dada Life and Nause.
Both duos have already released their latest singles as instrumentals and Dada Life have presented a vocal version of "Kick Out The Epic Motherf**ker" made by Vincent back in May, right now you can check fresh mixes fot this single from Otto Knows and Datsik here.
Mellow have just unleashed vocal edit of their single "Mellow" - "Hungry Hearts" and surprisingly it's also Vincent standing behind it. So everyone missing Vincent's own stuff this year will be enjoying his club-collaborations which will hopefully be massive at least in Sweden.

Lune - Don’t Be Sober (This Is Not A Lovesong) (acoustic)

Linnea Martinsson a.k.a Lune presents something really special. While preparing songs for the debut album Lune releases new single "Don't Be Sober (This Is Not A Lovesong)" that I was talking about recently and she has recorded a beautiful acoustic slightly Björk-smelling version of the song sounding like absolutely different track comparing with original version. It's released as official single's b-side and has got a video which is just a camera showing Lune and the rest of playing/singing band at first glance but it makes some magic hypnotizing effect with a track. Or is it just so good for a tired end of a working week? No, it's beautiful for real.
