New mixes from Le Kid, Timoteij and Emilia De Poret

As the summer keeps going and dancefloors are eager to get you let's continue checking new fresh mixes from some actual Swedish stars.
Le Kid in a process of promoting their debut single "Mercy Mercy" released a pack of new different mixes, I can't say any of them lacks interest, Seductive Baguette Mix is very gentle chill-out track, Kaus Club Mix is more proper for the club dancefloor, Tore Jarlo Remix is not less adorable but as a mostly pop-fan I can't help demonstrating you fantastic Stay The Mix. As you probably know Felix and Märta from Le Kid produced Alcazar's hit "Stay The Night" together with Anders Hansson and "Stay The Mix" is "Mercy Mercy" wrapped into arrangement of "Stay The Night" sounding not less anthemic then Alcazar's song with a great tune of original Le Kid's track.
Timoteij's single "Högt Över Ängarna" following success of debut "Kom" (#2) reached #3 of Swedish chart last week. Thankfully band didn't leave us without some goodies and included 2 dance-mixes of "Kom" into it. Both are quite worthy but my choice for now is more eurodance CM Music Remix.
And finally Emilia De Poret who still make efforts of promoting her biggest hit "Pick Me Up" in US has just released video for the mix made by Richard Vission. It's just a shooting of Emilia dancing in some gorgeous clothes but after amazing expensive videos "This Ain't A Lovesong" and "Now Or Never" we can forgive Emilia a little rest for her budget.
Thanx to Marcin for the help with article.

Live review of last 2 weeks (part 2)

Let's take a look now at what Sommarkysset was about in the second half of July and there were actually pretty loads of interesting things going on.
Winner of Melodifestivalen-2010 Anna Bergendahl performed her new single "The Army" that she plans to shoot video very soon for. With her original dress and hair in front of mass of green people she looked a little like alien princess but sure it's pretty nice how she currently makes some very positive experiments with her style transforming from next-door girl to a gorgeous pop-diva. Another long-awaited by many pop-fans performance was done by Le Kid, who were singing their debut single "Mercy Mercy" in a brightest colors and style of video for this song. Style performed medley of their best hits. Marie Serneholt and Sebastian Karlsson as a new musical-stars performed with the band of Grease. And as it was expected Martin Stenmarck promoted his "Everybody's changing" and Stockholm Pride stars Peter Gustafsson & Ankie Bagger were singing "Secret Weapon". Rock-part of performers in a faces of Shout Out Louds performing their new single "Fall Hard" and Ola Joyce with "Beautiful Loser" was also quite desrving attention. Among foreigh guests you could see Jon and Kato with the single "Turn the Lights Off" that have become very successful in Sweden and Eurovision-winner Lena with her famous "Satellite".

Melostars at Stockholm Pride week

During Stockholm Pride week Linda Bengtzing, Anna Bergehdahl, Jill Johnson, Sarah Dawn Finer and Magnus Carlsson gave English interviews to oikotimes and great news are that both Magnus and Linda are definitely want to come back to a big spotlight of future Melodifestivalen. Linda seems to be especially eager about comeback. Unfortunately Sarah is not so eager about it but doesn't want to say she'll never do it again. Well, you'd better check it yourself right below.

And you can also check some well-recorded performances during last week. Second record of Rebound's performance is a bit distorted with agonizing dying fans but this is what actually makes me laugh to tears everytime I hear it.

Live review of last 2 weeks (part 1)

These days I'm sorta lost track of the biggest music TV-shows of Sweden and seems like the most actual thing around them recently was not even performances but drama around low viewing figures of Allsång På Skansen and some radical decisions media required from this show like replacing Anders Lundin with Måns Zelmerlöw as a new host, you can read it more detailed in interesting article of our dear friend EuropeCrazy. Speaking about performances I'm not gonna give give a full review this time but mark some most interesting highlights. Let's start from Allsång På Skansen.
Huge public favorite Salem Al Fakir gave performance of his 2 last singles "Keep On Walking" and "4 O'Clock" well supported by audience, the last one turned to be especially joyful with such a wonderful public feedback.
Salem Al Fakir - Keep On Walking
Oskar Linnros has recently released album "Vilja Bli" that peaked at #2 and as I still can't write review of it you should also visit EuropeCrazy to read interesting review there. Oskar also performed his 2 last singles "Från och med du" and "Ack, Sundbyberg".
Oskar Linnros - Ack Sundbyberg
Jasmine Kara who just released her debut album "Blues Ain’t Nothing But A Good Woman Gone Bad" and autobiography "Hälsa henne att hon ska dö" performed already familiar for audience songs "In The Basement" and "Try My Love" showing all of her sweetness and amazing voice (still one of my top-candidates for Melodifestivalen-2011).
Jasmine Kara - In The Basement
Mando Diao has chosen 2 biggest chart favorites "Dance With Somebody" and "Gloria", very high-level performance that you can expect from one of the most popular Swedish rock-bands.
Mando Diao - Gloria
And sure I need to mention amazing medley of Real Group singing some most notable Swedish export-hits mostly from Golden Cheiron era, much appreciated!
Fibes, Oh Fibes! - Love Will Always Find A Way (video)

Fibes, Oh Fibes! released 3-part video for their latest single "Love Will Always Find A Way" and you can already watch all of them on youtube.
