Live pieces of Stockholm Pride-2012

Though Stockholm Pride is not event broadcasted on TV some really interesting performances are going online shot by Pride's visitors. So I've decided to collect the most special ones.
Ex-Love Generation - Stockholm Syndrome girls have performed their brand new song "Karma" (or "Karma's A Bitch" in some sources, we don't know what is official title yeat). On the video below choruses go a bit too messy because of hard bass but you can understand what a big step it is from previous girls' pop-singles.
Our favorites Happy Hoes and Da Buzz were singing their newest singles and both were enjoyable to look at.
And finally Gravitonas during full gig have premiered two new songs - "Desert Sky" and the next single "Incredible". Both are available to watch here. And you can listen to the first one below. "Desert Sky" is a great piece of dramatical pop with a funky chorus which is probably doesn't have a lot common with a studio-version but it have a potential to be one of the best Gravitonas' tunes (especially for BWO fans). "Incredible" sounds initially more complicated but turns afterwards to a straight-forward big happy dance chorus.

Belle - Sisters Anthem

Stockholm Pride week has started and the list of guests is more than impressive. Loads of Melodifectivalen participants, some foreign ESC-artists and fresh Swedish names. What I do like the most about this year is that line-up is much younger, schlager-veterans are good but not in that quantity we had last year. So if you'll be able to visit Stockholm these days - do it, if you won't - check for performances on youtube and catch some other goodies released to be presented live during festival.
Team of Thomas Karlsson and Adam Robinson which has got a big premiere with Ms Trez at last year's Pride are back to deliver another Pride's (unofficial but still) anthem with a new collaborator and a new artist - Belle.
Linda Sonnvik that you should know by Dilba's recent hit "Try Again" has joined Thomas and Adam to write a new track "Sisters Anthem". Producer Mike Moorish and photograper Jenny Eklund have completed the pack.
"Sisters Anthem" correspondingly to its title explodes with a dance-pop anthemic sound and clubby production, not too clubby to break away from its pop-concept but quite enough to warm up live-presentation of the song and become a hot dancefloor filler this week at Pride.
Don't forget to check previous Belle's singles "Sound of summer" and "Spellbound".

Music pieces of Stockholm Pride-2011

Schlagerkvällen-2011 (big annual schlager-gala on August Stockholm Pride's week) wasn't the most fantastic in years, you can read review of Schlagerprofilerna's Ronny here and English translation on Schlagerfiasko.
Personally we wouldn't be too excited about this concert too but if we'll take a look at the whole week there was a lot of performances and involved artists that we'd really like to see.
Unfortunately there's a huge lack of qualitative videos on youtube this year (if you're ok with it you can find some Alcazar, Sanna, Shirley's Angels, Jenny Silver, etc. performances) so I've chosen just two of enjoyable quality and interesting songs we were talking about recently. To be more exact live premiere of Man Meadow's single "Eaten Alive" (nice to see that band is back on track in a great shape) and performance of amazing Glorious Inc's "Dance or Die".

Ankie Bagger & Peter Gustafson - Secret Weapon

In the end of July Stockholm will host annual Pride festival with loads of different public events and open-air performances, as a rule it gathers most interesting and currently important schlager-names, so some of approved ones are Hera Björk, Hanna Lindblad, Jenny Silver, NEO, Safura, Anne-Lie Rydé, Rebound, Mariette Hansson, Caroline af Ugglas, sure this list's gonna be much longer in a few weeks.
Every year Stockholm's Pride gets it's official anthem and this year is no exception and it's Ankie Bagger & Peter Gustafsson who provide the anthem this time. It's not the first work of Ankie and Peter together, year before they recorded their first schlager-experiment "Du kan inte lura mig" (joke song about woman fallen in love with gay-guy) written by Thomas G:Son that reached #4 of chart.
"Secret Weapon" is as classic disco-schlager as it can be, like it or not, and sure it's gonna suit its aim very well, the song is written by Ulf Ekwall, Fredde "Francis" Jernberg and Charlie Mason. You can check enjoyable live performance of it below, it really lifts the song to a new level and changing this dead audience to open-air party people it could sound and look really great.
You can check the list of other Stockholm Pride's anthems of 00s. Best one to your opinion?

Alcazar - Someday (2003)
