Jon Ink - Every Little Inch

Creative activity of webjoker Jonas Matsson under a new name Jon Ink has switched to a pretty high speed of presenting new stuff this autumn.
After previous pop-rock song "Tell It To My Face" we've got his new work "Every Little Inch" where Jonas keeps exploring field of dynamic rockier stuff in a hard electronic wrap, this time it's getting even harder still leaving a place for a nicely building melody and bursting choruses. Though Swedish pop-artists rarely release new videos lately it's already second Jonas' video for a short period and this one is really worthy!

Jon Ink - Tell It To My Face

Right when we've started to think we've lost latest webjoker winners from the spotlight forever we've got a new track from Jonas Matsson re-launching his career under the name Jon Ink.
"Tell It To My Face" is a radical turn from acoustic raggae-pop of "On My Own" to explosive "My Life Would Suck Without You" pop-rock with a heavily buzzing electronic arrangement, very refreshing and catchy track. Hope everything will go well for Jonas, he is talented artist and we respect that he comes up with new creative ideas.

Daily MF: Rehearsals before Melodfestivalen-2011

We get more and more new pics in different stars blogs and in media by which we can realize that next year Melodifestivalen comparing with last year full of static performances with nothing but artist standing next to mic and singing some ballad this year will be full of dancing numbers.
For example above you can already see Jonas Matsson working on his performance with Rennie Mirro showing which schlager-poses should artist learn to become melamazing.

Dilba gets 7 dancers team and her manager Linda Sonnvik promises some truly great show. We hope it'll be amazing opening performance!

Will Le Kid stand in front of cameras with dead eyes and sleepy show? Nope!!! Le Kid are gonna DANCE!!!

Rickard Engfors is making some terrific show for Sebastian this year! It's gonna have LEDs with Sebastian's video behind, dancing girls and it's gonna be technical complicated. Don't know what it means but smells like excitement!

Jenny Silver who goes schlager this year seems like has moved from dark melancholic image and gets loads of dancers too. Rickard also works on her show and thinks to dress dancers like futuristic soldiers with bondage elements. Sounds like something incredible. Check more on his blog.

What about Linda Sundblad? Have you ever seen her in dance shows? You're going to also this time! So let's dance!

Webjokers are getting harder!

Few months left since two luckies we followed last Autumn have reached the final of webjoker-contest for Melodifestivalen-2011 and have taken victory that we were really glad tipping them as one of our favorites but will Julia Alvgard with her ballad "Better Or Worse" and Jonas Matsson with guitar pop track "On My Own" be more successful than MiSt (webjokers of MF-2010)? Will they reach final of Melodifestivalen and get a long career in Sweden? We'll know very soon! But now artists in a hottest stage of preparing to contest and both promise that their songs are upgraded and they are on the way to fight.
Both Julia and Jonas have got support of the biggest record-labels, Julia - Universal and Jonas - EMI. You can already check Jonas' site to find his with new style and a lot of another interesting stuff. Julia has only Facebook page for now but you can already find her new song there! For now it's just a demo of song "I Was" - track that you're gonna like if you like "Better Or Worse", it sounds more like Rihanna-style r'n'b-ballad, less for schlager-competition but really enjoyable with amazing Julia's voice and in more ready studio-quality. Check it below along with Jonas singing cover "Wonderchild" of his schlager-rival Christian Walz.

Jonas Matsson and Julia Alvgard win Webbjoker for Melodifestivalen-2011 and Elisabeth Andreassen is officially announced for participation

World has heard first two participants of Melodifestivalen-2011 today and it's Julia Alvgard with the song "Better Or Worse" and Jonas Matsson with the song "On My Own" who have just won Webbjoker-contest for Melodifestivalen-2011 and we happily announce that both of songs were from the beginning in the list of our favorites and we're really glad that they will be performed at Melodifestivalen next year. Julia and Jonas turned to be very charming artists and great performers so no fears everything's gonna look and sound great on the stage of Melodifestivalen. We feel sorry that Engla haven't made it to MF but we're sure it's just a beginning for such amazing artist and send her our love, hugs and best wishes!

From another Melodifestivalen news, SVT has announced Elisabeth Andreassen as another official participant with the song "Vaken i en dröm" written by schlager-veterans Lars "Dille" Diedricson, Calle Kindbom and Kristian Wejshag. Lars and Kristian have written "I Did It For Love" for Jessica Andersson so we can expect ballad again but as Calle Kindblom is responsible for some schlager-stuff like "Give me your love", "Långt bortom tid och rum" and "Show me heaven" it can be schlager as well.
